Hairstylist did not listen to instructions

I only wanted to change my hair colour and trim my hair. I had told the hairstylist that I intended to keep my hair long. Subsequently Irene chatted with other staff before snipping 40% of my hair off . She said it was because my hair was dry. Still 40%???

Rebonding Result was average not-so-sleek

I had my rebonding and haircut done at Kimage @ Plaza Singapura. Cecilia, the master stylist attended to me. To be frank, it’s not the best rebonding job I’ve had. However, I am willing to keep an open mind. Cecilia had advised that I only rebond the new-grown hair, i.e. the roots. Maybe that could have explained the average not-so-sleek result. In any case, I was thankful that at least my hair was not damaged in the process.

Looks so awkward

I have tried with Irene. She is patient and friendly though she is inexperienced.

She did straighten my fringe and it looks so awkward. Again she didn't recommend the correct hair color for me. It ends with the color which didn't match with me. :(

I was very happy with my cut

Just a few weeks ago I had a hair cut
It was a challenged to make decision where to go for a good and reasonable price
I’ve had a few experienced cutting hair in Singapore
It wasn’t my favorite to be honest!

I had an experience with the famous Shunji Matsuo at Isetan Wisma Atria
A friend of mine recommended me to go there and so I decided to go (few years ago)
It was very pack and there were many hair dresser around
So to speak, it was a little messy!

I was assigned to this gentleman
I told him precisely my problem and what I wanted to see ( A bloody change of course)
I said I want to see some layering and volume,
Trim a little and not too much ya da ya da…

He cut my hair very little as if he was rushing to do more commission from other clients
I realized (cuz I was paying attention to what he was doing) he did not do any layering
Therefore my hair was still looking pretty dead instead of voluminous
I told him about it just so maybe he had forgotten about that part
And to my shocking, the only thing he did…
He layered only the front part of my hair
Meaning, between your ears area ONLY!

Wow… terrible experienced and I paid SGD48++
Ok, some of you may say it is because I had the junior instead of the senior
I could change your mind about that because the last place I went was amazing
It only cost me SGD50 FIXED!

I’ve done many research and a lot of experienced women in Singapore introduced Kimage
I lived nearby at Dhoby Ghaut area and I remember seeing Kimage Prestige
There are prices range from 50 – 60 and 70
As soon as I arrived (Saturday), I was very lucky to get one hairdresser to fix me

I wanted 70 to try out the best but He/She wasn’t available
Reminder: You need to make an appointment with the 60 and 70 bucks lol
I told the man to just appoint me to anybody who’s currently available

Ivan was my hairdresser
He’s from Malaysia and has been working for Kimage Prestige for a few years
Basically, the hairdressers in Kimage Prestige at Plaza Singapura are very professional
If you hated salon with a lot of hard selling, try Kimage Prestige!
They do not appoint you to try this and that
Buy this and that… you name it!
You want a cut, they will do you a cut, that’s that!
Unless you ask for some treatment etc, which I did but they did not push me at all

My hairdresser did what I wanted him to do, Layering and keep the volume
I love my old hair, they are long, naturally straight but heavy!
I was very happy with my cut and It felt very light on my head

Here is a picture of Before and After
I did my own curling on the “After” look
In Singapore, It is hard to find someone who can curl your hair nicely unless you do perm
I love curling my own hair as they looked very natural

If there is one hairstylist to recommend , it would definitely be IRENE from Kimage plaza. She is warm, patient and friendly and on top of that, brillant in her cutting skills. Extremely precision cutting i must say!. I have gone to many top expensive hairstylist but none can beat her careful and precise cutting expertise!!. Its been twice I have had my haircut with her, so far she never fails to impress me. Thumb up to irene and i will definitely come back to her for more services!

2 Thumbs up!

Tried many salons in town but did not really found the value worth until I came to Kimage Prestige, Plaza Singapura.

Well, I guess when they say the difference between every company is their employees, it is definitely true. The hairstylist that attended to me was Irene, and indeed, she is different from the many whom I came across. During my small talk with her, I told her that I wanted a new image in which she suggested that I should rebond my hair. She promised that I would sport a natural look with softer and healthier hair.

She made good of her promise and I was certainly delighted with the results. It was absolutely fantastic! I started to understand the real meaning of value.

Throughout the entire week, I’ve been receiving nothing but praises from family, friends and colleagues on my new look because of my hair. I’ve never felt this good and all this just leaves me with no choice but to give her this deserving credit here. I am certain she will be the one I will stick to for my hair services.

Irene – not only can she gives you what you want, she does it in the best possible way. This got to be the most awesome hair experience I’ve encountered. 2 Thumbs up!

Totally not worth it

Went to Kimage Prestige at Plaza Singapura for a haircut today. My hair stylist was Jason. He was ok but kept asking me to dye my hair or rebond my hair or perm my hair. Like WTF lah. Can’t a customer just go in and simply cut her hair? They do serve drinks though and their drinks are so cute!

Before my haircut. Can’t stand my long and messy hair!
After the haircut. How is it? I find it so-so only. Nothing fantastic. In fact, I actually wanna cut it shorter like my cousin but he advised me against it.

I think of maybe getting this length for bottom and back but I don’t wanna cut my fringe like hers. Anyway, I just saw on the Kimage receipt that they guarantee all their work. If our hair-do is unsatisfactory, we can return to the outlet within 10 days with the receipt and they will do the rectification works free of charge. But then if our hair-do is unsatisfactory, we (I) don’t even dare to go back to the same outlet to look for the same hair stylist.

Argh!! I still cannot find a good/suitable hair stylist!!! The home salon which I went to do rebonding the last time was good. It lasted quite long (for about 1 year). Even Jason said that it’s good today.

Cost of the haircut: $45. Totally not worth it.

Awesome new stylist

you probably cannot tell but i spent $120 on my hair just this afternoon. i found this new stylist @ kimage plaza singapura and shes pretty awesome. i like the way she cut my fringe, although it doesnt quite show in the photos. she did this tiered thing that looks really nice and goes really well with my natural curls, which is so rare.

Finally, I did something to my hair...

Went to Kimage Prestige at Plaza Singapura yesterday and guess what I did? I cut and dyed my hair... Haha, I cut my fringe too, but it's not the very short type because the stylist was afraid that I might not get used to it and I wanted something that is easy to maintain too so I ended up in this... You might not be able to see much difference in this picture but I think it's quite nice...
