went to do dye job at jurong east branch which costs nearly $300. all faded within 2 weeks. then realised their technique of dyeing was wrong. you do not dye hair when it is wet. went to another salon and they dye hair dry ie they wash then blow dry and then dye. it lasted a few months. joker salon.

Very rude hairdressers and manager. Very rough handling. Only care for business and money. Made my helper wait outside while my 3 year old gets her haircut. The outcome isn't that great. Poor service. Avoid that outlet if possible. If the manager sees this. Please check your outlet

Bad experience. Hair stylist trimmed my long hair by simple chop off the length i wanted to be trimmed within 5mins & almost wanna use a zizag scissors to layer my hair. I stopped her in time. She used the same comb that she used on an old man with oily & sticky hair on me. As a result, i have itchy scalp from then on. Basic hygiene is not there. Environment very dusty & dirty. The owner has placed a hp nos in the shop for customers to feedback their services. I whatapps i hope to see improvement on basic hygiene, esp the combs, should be santized after each customers. He never replied to my message so i deleted it. I decided to send this review to warn people coz i never have itchy scalp until i visited that saloon.

I went there to organic rebond but in 1hr all done and the lady who serve me keep pushing to go for treatment and selling many other hair product even do you keep saying no keep trying to sell and worst is next day my hair back to feezy and wavy really worst Don ever go this jurong east branch will only suck your money for no quality service Wasting money WORST EXPERIENCE

People coming in automatically get to dye hair, while I'm waiting to just cut hair, I'm a male cutting hair won't take long, stylist prioritising People who coming in later than me who wants to dye hair....

IF u want to visit snip avenue,I am warning u ,DON'T! went to their jurong west branch today@ around 11:45 am..I only wanted to get a haircut ..so i went inside and showed a picture of a wolfcut becuz it trendy la.. so then the stylist sat me down and b4 getting ready i told her to not cut it too short only till shoulder length.She murmured sum words I couldn't understand and continued.so then she ended up cutting short. TOO short.like right under the ears short. and i was furious becuz not only it was very short the stylist didn't even cut the hair properly and it looks nothing like the picture..more like a mushroom cut. they are very unprofesional.. few years ago i went there and they were racist as I am an indian. Put things simply: - went for a haircut but ended up waiting for 2 hours only to be cut queued by bookings and walk-in package takers - disrespectful staffs who doesn't take their job seriously, can even cut halfway go see tiktok/instagram on other staffs on break. - hidden charges which is not told to package takers so u fork out more for the above repeated treatment elsewhere. I had my hair color touch up yesterday at Snip Avenue at their Bedok Reservoir branch. I was attended to by one staff from start to finish and overall, the experience was horrible from hair coloring to washing to drying to check-out. Everything was done hastily. Particularly on hair washing the conditioner wasn’t rinsed well and as she wipe off the color stain on my forehead with those solutions on the towel she also rub it off towards my hair. Went for a haircut at Snip Avenue for the first time as its near to where I just shifted to. Have hear bad comments about them before just thought that it shouldnt be so bad since I'm just doing a simple trim. My goodness I was wrong! They are the worse salon I have been to in my entire life..... from service attitude, to pressuring me to sign package, to the resulting look of the haircut (its just trimming for goodness sake) is just plain shixtty! My mother went to have her haircut on 21 Apr 22 around 4plus at Toa Payoh main branch. After her haircut, she ask the lady staff to wash her hair as well, but the staff told her that she was unable to wash her hair as she is short . I find this is so ridiculous, the staff is so rude ,disrespectful and unprofessional in handling customer. My mother didn’t ask the name of the lady staff. Please look into the matter . The staff was very rude. Talking to me and not replying me. There was once, the staff did not trply me simply because i asked her to cut my hair shorter. Went to tampines 419 few day ago very disappoint on this chain man hairstyles I show my recent picture to this Chian man and told he to just fowll the hair length on the picture what I want is just to traim a bit and don’t cut too short ,but this china man totally don’t care and quietly cut my hair until very short without asking my permission, for now I still waiting a answer from the manger at HQ (Review not yet verified)

Visited Jurong East branch at 6.30pm. The China male hair stylist is impolite and rushing to off work. When it's about 8.15pm, he literally use his bare hand splashing the neutralizer all over my hair and wash it off directly. T-T motion neutralizer doesn't need to leave in for at least 1 minute? Yet, he did the final haircut hurriedly. Spend $139.80 for soft rebonding + wash + haircut + offensive language. What a horrible experience! (Review not yet verified)

I visited the Boon Keng branch. I booked 6.30pm but the admin person wrote 4.30pm in the book. I came at 6.30pm and they didn't even say anything, until the second customer came who booked at 6pm. Then the admin person and hairstylist started pushing the blame onto me saying I'm supposed to come at 4.30pm. My question then is why did nobody call me when I failed to turn up at 4.30pm, and when I turned up at 6.30pm, they didn't even question me until the second customer who booked at 6pm came? First of all, you wrote the wrong timing into the appointment book. Secondly, you didn't call when I failed to turn up at the supposed timing that you wrote on the book. Thirdly, you kept pushing the blame onto me? How is that my fault? Won't recommend people to go there. Always have to pray for a smooth experience before going. (Review not yet verified)

Visited the bedok branch and the lady cutting hair is so rude and just shouted at me to sit down and quickly cut. After telling her I wan Number 1 on both side of the hai she just take razor and razor everything off. And than top tell her not to cut so much she basically snip off and ruin my hair and made it very thin. I mean come on la if you dont like your job dont take it out on customer. Not many service providers left in Singapore who are like Snip Avenue, really! Cheap is the key word to identify Snip Avenue with - particularly in the area of Service! Let me highlight the Yishun Branch in particular. The management is very fortunate to have a staff in this branch who makes sure that customers have an experience they will never forget. She is crude right from the start when she appears at the door commanding that the trace together app displays that check-in is done. If customers are lucky, she will also be the hairdresser attending to them. It's difficult to describe the very short grooming process which ends soon after it starts. The highlight of it all is the manner she demands for the payment of $3.8. It is very similar to unlicensed moneylenders demanding defaulters for payment, I would imagine. Overall the experience that many would have had at the Snip Avenue is unforgettable for the reasons that many would know. I would like end this review with a quote by Maya Angelou for the management and staff (in particular that reputation-spoiler obnoxious lady). Crap ia rhe qord. After waiting for 3hrs i was shooed out in 15mins n didnt bother to let me see back of my head. Ask her to do a simple layered bob n she claimed cant be same as asian hair wont look the same as european style Next morning after washing my haur the night before i found: A. Left side is higher than right side B. One cluster of hair on left side is lpnger than rest on left side C. When i check the layering many layer have longer cluster n are all uneven - dont look like they have even been trimmed D. Back hair line us nit even level E. I was initially impressed by the cheap prices of the haircut but as the price speak for itself the services and profession were poor and a disaster.Firstly, I will need to highlight the poor customer service of the lady who served me and my friend; when me and my friend walked in the outlet, instead of being greeted with smiles and basic respect, we were shouted at and ‘instructed’ to sit down and not waste their time. Isn’t it funny for a customer to apologise for the staff faults? I apologise multiple times even it was not my fault. But she greeted me with offensive mockery Secondly, she told me not to question her profession and I did but her actions contradicts her words -the haircut was a great disaster, it was not even approaching my minimum expectation of a proper haircut; it wasn’t cut up to the length I wanted, and it was frizzy and the shape of the hair cut was bad. This clearly shows that she was self boosting and was over confident of her skills which clearly isn’t the case. From this, it is clear that we can clearly question her integrity too. Thirdly, I believe the root causes doesn’t lie on her, after seeing so many complaints and reviews on snip avenue, there might be a very serious management issue with this company. I had a haircut at the Jurong branch. Initially was really happy to get a hair cut below five dollops BUT just after I stepped in I was screamed at by a SHORT HAIRED lady, followed she uses crude offensive words against me. She told me not to doubt her profession and I did it as she said before her haircut … BUT THE HAIRCUT TURNEd OUT TO BE SO TERRIBLE AND BAD that AFTERWARDS I HAD TO GET ANOTHER HAIRCUT TO FIX IT. Go there for a haircut and you will have the best BAD HAIR DAY you can wish for. So bad that everyone else in the meeting will tell you to turn off your video cam so that they don’t go blind! Went to the Bishan branch near the bus interchange for a haircut, since my usual hairstylist used to work there. However, to my utmost dismay she had resigned. (Most probably because of the terrible staff welfare.) Worse, they replaced all the better hairstylist with PRC men who are very rough and rude. When they served me, he asked how I would like to get my hair cut; I showed him a previous photo of my haircut by my usual hairstylist and he began to cut. His handling was rough and within 3 minutes he said he was done. Terrible!!! He barely even cut my hair. Yes it’s cheap but still I expect my hair to be cut. I asked him again to compare it with my photo and he started to become very rude. He said that if I wanted my haircut to be like that, I need to pay 18.80 instead of the usual 4.80. What a rip off! I would rather go anywhere else to cut my hair if I had the time and am willing to pay 20 dollars for a haircut. (Not too sure where these people learn hairstyling? Perhaps from cutting vegetables? Haha,) Jokes aside, All in all, would strongly discourage anyone to cut their hair here unless you want to look like a rotten broccoli or want your day ruined by the terrible attitude of the staff. They are so pushy to upsell and get people to buy their treatments. Even when I repeatedly said no and quite insistent, they just put the cream on my hair and said it was for my own good, need to know how to enjoy life. It is also not their money, and their treatments are expensive without much effect. I really hate them a lot, especially the counter lady, and will not be going back for rebonding, even though their prices may be lowest. They will push you to buy their cashcards, $500/$1000, giving you free credits, that is how they survive. But later they will raise prices and tell you to topup. Horrible attitude. I had always been patronising this salon for 10 plus year . Did my rebonding , highlight and trim here for the past 10 years. I also recommended to friends but the whole experience changed after today. Went into the salon for a simple trim , the lady with sulking face asked if i wanted a hair wash . Since i washed my hair yesterday night i replied nope . Through the whole cut she pulled my hair v hard and past comment like cannot be lazy not to hold on to both side of the mask when i checked with her if i only need to release the side that she was cutting . Really distasteful experience . With so many bad reviews online , i hope that their management look into it and please don’t write professional hair cut . What's wrong with the staff the attitude is bad to worst, one hair cut waiting time is 1hr 30mins (pls bear in mind we are paying not asking for FREE CUTTING) and only 3 customers doing the hair treatment, rest of the staff is siting and chatting taking their own sweet time!! $4.80 is set by your company policy if your staff think that the commission that they earning is less try to talk to your own staff. Can the management do something and be nice to your staff I always believe when you are nice and good to your staff your staff will be nice to the customer too, don't let your company image become the most ugly and worst in SINGAPORE.
