Keep reading for tips on how to shape your eyebrows ...

1. Find your brow shape

Thin, thick, straight, arched and angular - there are a variety of brow shapes you can choose from to achieve your desired look. But just as not all hairstyles will suit one person, similarly not all brow shapes will look flattering on you. Identify what your natural brow shape is and work from there to pick a brow shape that will elevate your overall look

Fancy thick eyebrows like Cara Delevinge? Thick eyebrows make for a bold look and thin eyebrows, on the other hand, exudes a more soft, demure and delicate vibe. Straight eyebrows tend to make you look younger and innocent, which is why straight eyebrows are a popular Korean trend. It can shave years off your face! Doesn't she look younger with straight brows whereas a high arch makes her look slightly assertive and sexy? No doubt both brow shapes suit her, and at the end of the day, it depends on which brows you prefer to pull off.

2. Make Sure Your Brow Shape Compliments Your Face Shape

Round bob hairstyles can make people with round faces look even rounder, and so can brows! When filling in your brows, keep in mind these tricks to ensure your eyebrows compliment your face shape.

If you have an angular face, make your brows less harsh to soften up your features. You can still have a nice brow arch without making it too sharp. Compare Angelina Jolie's soft brows with her sharper brows (below)..

The softer brows soften her features yet still keeping the sharpness of her look.

A longer brow will balance out your features if you have an oval shaped face. You don't need too high of an arch, of course, you could if you wanted to accentuate a long face but notice how Cara Delevingne's thick, beautiful eyebrows aren't too straight or too arched?

Arching your brow will give the illusion of an angular face, this trick can come in handy for those with round faces

Other details such as length and thickness affect how you look too. Thicker brows can make your look more youthful but don't go too heavy handed as that might be too harsh and unnatural-looking. The perfect in-between is ideal.

The length of your eyebrows affects your look too. Shorter brows make you look more innocent and eyebrows that are too long can age you as they tend to create a droopy effect.

3. Practice Drawing Your Eyebrows the Right Way

The way you fill in your eyebrows may differ depending on the shape, arch and look you are going for. However, there are few basic steps you need to nail down in order to get the perfect brows.

Step 1: Groom it

Whether your preferred method of grooming your eyebrows is threading, waxing, tweezing or simply trimming your eyebrows with eyebrow scissors, #eyebrowsonfleek begins with shaping and grooming. Leave it to the professionals if you are not confident to do it on your own.

 Step 2: Brush it

Using an eyebrow spoolie, comb your upwards, starting from the front and ending at the tail of the brow. This allows you to see the gaps in your eyebrows, which is where you will need to fill them in.

Step 3: Measure it

Now take the eyebrow pencil and hold it from the inner edge of your nostrils straight up to your eyebrow.

This is Point 1, where eyebrows should begin and Point 4 is where your eyebrows should end. To measure where your eyebrows should end, hold the eyebrow pencil diagonally from the outermost part of your nostril to the outermost part of your eye and note where the eyebrow pencil extends past your eye.

 Step 4: Fill it

Once you have figured out the brow shape you want and mapped out the dimensions, feather in each "hair" stroke by stroke. It'll look more natural than if you were to draw it whole.

You can play around with different eyebrow types but if it takes too long for you to figure out how to create a beautiful brow, you should consider turning to experts to sculpt something semi-permanent. This allows you to follow the pre-drawn eyebrow shape and just fill it in as you go.
