For those people who are like me, and get bored of their hair colour every month - this goes out to all of you! Just like those who match their braces colour to the season or occasion, hair junkies can do the same.
Bleaching your hair is damaging, there's no sugarcoating that, but if your hair is in a healthy condition and you take extra good care of it after bleaching, you should be able to try out various hair colours in just one year by planning your bleaches right to reduce excessive hair damage and breakage.
Here's a month by month breaking down, starting with which colour you should try out first ...
Grayge Ash Brown by Art Noise Japanese Hair Salon
New hair, new you after all, right? If you are bleaching your hair for the first time, go for ash based colours as it's not only the trendiest colour of the moment but since it usually requires more than one round of bleaching, your hair should be healthy enough to withstand multiple rounds of bleaching.

Chocolate Caramel by Picasso Hair Studio
Now that you're a month into your ash colour, you'll begin to notice that the colour is fading and it's time for a touch-up. Give your tresses a break from the bleaching and sport a caramel inspired colour. You won't be required to bleach your hair again to achieve this colour and it's not a drastic change as it's not far off from the ashy colour you have been wearing.
Ash pink by LeeKaJa Korean hair Salon @ Mandarin Gallery
Once you have tried out the muted colours, it's time to take step towards a more vibrant colour yet still subtle - rose gold. With just one round of bleaching, this dusty pink is a must-try! It stands out without being too loud and hard-pressed to find someone who doesn't love rose gold!
You can even go a little peachy if you prefer a more pink base...
Copper Red by Kenaris Salon
Believe it or not, red or burgundy hair actually requires bleaching. Probably due to its deep tones, most ladies assume they won't need to bleach their tresses to achieve such a colour. However, as you have already been bleaching your hair for the previous colours, you should be able to dye your hair your preferred shade of red without the need for bleach.
Pink Ombre by Follicle Salon @ Ngee Ann City
Ready for something more LOUD? Though orange is not everyone's favourite colour, it may work well if it's Halloween and you will be seen as a trendsetter if it suits you really well! Worth a try if you are bold and wild as it doesn't require bleaching for those with already bleached hair.
That said, orange hair is not for everyone. Hence, it might be wiser to transition from red to pink instead as red hues lasts longer than most colours. Once it wears off, go pink to channel Beauty and The Beast or the pink ranger Power Rangers vibes!

What comes after red and pink hair? Purple of course! There's just something mesmerising about purple locks, probably because they are reminiscent of the galaxy and who doesn't love galaxy inspired hair! Just look at these purple hair designs and tell us they are not worth bleaching your locks for!

Denim Ombre by Picasso Hair Studio @ Bugis Haji Lane
Denim is in, not just in fashion but in the hair world as well! We personally prefer the ombre trend for denim hair as the gradient effect from black to blue is a classic touch and not forgetting, it doesn't require you to touch-up or bleach your roots for it as well. But hey, if a head full of blue is what you want, then you do you!

Adding in dark green highlights with your blue hair is also a nice touch and makes you extra cool ...

If you little quirky and daring enough, up your hair game by going green. It's no doubt more striking than blue but you might just make a few friends go green with envy our your funky hair!

Turquoise Grey Ombre by Bump Hair Design @ The Rochester Buona Vista
Loving the green and blue, and want something in between? Turquoise is your answer! It most likely will be you fifth time bleaching your hair for this shade and if you have been taking good care of your tresses, damaged hair beyond repair shouldn't be a concern.
Platinum Blonde by Bump Hair Design @ The Rochester Buona Vista
Blondes are said to have more fun. So maybe going platinum blonde is worth a try? It would be a pity not to try blonde hair after all that bleaching you have been doing and going blonde sets you up for the trendiest colour of all time, which won't require you to bleach your hair yet again since you are already a blonde.
Pastel Matte Candy Shades by Picasso Hair Studio
And the trendiest colour of all time is dreamy pastel hues!
Like we mentioned earlier, for this last colour, you won't be needing to bleach your hair if your previous colour is blonde. Blonde hair picks up pastel colours really well. Hence, it's the best opportunity to try out unicorn hair!
Oh, and while you're at it, don't just stick to one pastel hue. End the year with a bang by blending several pastel colours, like pastel rainbow hair!
