I followed this salon whilst in Australia. I had a head of greys. I returned to book into this salon. I came out with an awesome transformation. I came in with really frizzy and dense hair and asked for layers and to thin out my medium length hair. The stylist Suggy is very professional and friendly, loved the results of my hair! It lightens up my skin tone and I look more energetic with this new hair. Especially when it’s under the natural light (the sun) the colour looks amazing. This picture is taken the next day of my visit, after a night of sleep, the hairdo still looks so nice. The environment of the hair studio is great, they have mini tablets for us to watch netflix and so, bottles of mineral water are given to us, and they also provide cables to charge our phones which is very thoughtful. I’ve been with 99percent hair studio for years because of their impeccable customer service and expertise ♥️ As a mom, time is always hard to find and Fion is such a life-saver because she knows exactly what to recommend in terms of styles that are easy to maintain, takes care of your hair condition but still chic! I’ve always trusted her to do what she thinks will look nice for me (so it saves a lot of time) and it’s never too over-the-top. Recently I did a straight crop, with a quick root perm, and wonder last treatment to finish off. The highlights and hair colour was from my previous session in December cus she knew I won’t have time to touch-up in between. It’s so amazing how it lasted even with new hair growing out it blended so seamlessly. On top of that, I love how the salon is always keen on improving their client-experience. They constantly upgrade the facilities like pull-out tables for each station so you can have your meals or drinks with ease, and also personal screens with Netflix so you can kill time while waiting for your hair to be done. It’s all these little details that matters for me :) prices are always reasonable and there’s no hard-selling at all. I had my haircut and at same time did 2 hair treatments at 99 Percent. Danson was my hairstylist. He is friendly, skilful, attentive and understood my hair condition. My hair has always been frizzy, unmanageable, but Danson made right recommendations that I do Wonderlast treatment and hair-loss treatment. The result i got was super smooth, soft and shiny hair. All the frizz are gone. It has been a week now and it still maintain its smoothness. I love my haircut too. Danson also often shares tips on how to maintain my hair daily. I love the hair treatment they gave me yesterday and also the haircut. Jaron was very meticulous and you can see every time when he cut his customers’ hair, he pays close attention to the customer’s “grievance” on their hair and how they wanted their hair to be. He gives brilliant advice on which hairstyles suit you best, depending on your face shape, hair texture, etc. This doesn’t stop here because he also gives constructive input on how to style your hair after you go back home. This is my second time here and I am not regretting my choice of picking this salon. A hair expert with such an inextricable quality. I have done my fair amount of highlighting for my hair in the past, but it just turns out to be… strips of brighter hair (UGLY). Yesterday’s experience was superb. Pardon me if I may say, I have seen none saloon doing the hair dryer method. It is a pleasant experience and the highlights in my hair turn out to be very natural. I love it very much. I praise them for their superb perfection by being remarkably precise in their work of art. Thank you very much. And may I also compliment the staffs for the helpfulness who cleans and swept off every hair and sanitise every customer’s seat after they left. My hair's naturally curly/frizzy and black, and I had a bad haircut that made me look even more aged I'm a stay at home mum with two kids including a newborn, hence I can't do strong chemicals and I don't have enough time and energy for elaborate maintenance. I visited Danson after seeing videos/reviews of his work on social media, and he didn't disappoint. In fact, he exceeded my expectations. He tuned in and understood my pain points. Never had my hair looked better after washing at home post-salon. Not only that, it's low to no maintenence. Thanks Danson! I read a lot of Beauty Undercover posts, & enjoy them. So I thought it was a safe bet going for the number 1 salon based on customer reviews, & based on the information in Beauty Undercover, that it was the leading hair color salon. The haircut was okay, very average. I asked how dark the color could possibly be without bleach, & confirmed that it would still be a fairly bright shade. Wait times were long, head was treated roughly like an object while they shuffled between customers. Finally, when Danson removed the foil, he said, "Aiya a bit dark, should have left longer." No apology, lol. $168 for coloring, & 4 days later, almost all the color is gone. Complete waste of money. Danson was extremely patient and attentive to my hair needs and is always ensuring that I am well taken care of, ensuring that my hair will be in good condition even when I had to bleach my hair! He delivered a soft and natural look for me when I said I am not looking for something too bright. He was also really gentle with me, and it was a fuss-free yet enjoyable experience for me. Asked Jaron for a change in hair colour, one that would make me look young again and HE DID NOT DISAPPOINT!! He worked his magic hands to transform my boring brown hair to a beautiful copper red + vermillion orange highlight colour which made me feel like I was a teen again! Also did the wanderlust hair treatment so as to preserve the bleached and coloured hair so that after the service, my hair still feels smooth and pretty!!
