Aegean Spa & Retreat @ The Central

I would not recommend this spa if you don't speak mandarin. It was hard to communicate with the facial therapist in English. At the end of the session when I gave this feedback to the manager/receptionist, she immediately became defensive. Another therapist standing around then made a joke that was extremely insensitive further reiterating that this spa cannot handle non-mandarin speaking customers. First time in my life I left a spa much more stressed then when I walked in. Waste of my money and time.

Update: A feeling of being 'forced' to sign up the package. I would love to sign up if the service is good.

Refused to sign up and I used ' I don't have sufficient cash with me now' as my excuses.

'You can use nets' they replied.

They 'advised' me to put a deposit first and let them know later which package im going to take.

I told them i have left only SGD80 with me now and I cant give them any deposit as I need to keep it just in case any emergency when on my way home. and then they replied, 'in fact deposit only meant for 'CHILDREN' and normally for 'WORKING ADULTS', they don't have to put any deposit.'

Sorry to say but what kind of service is this? When i asked if the deposit refundable, the manager, Jas/ Jes said YES but called back yesterday, she said 'DEPOSIT is non-refundable one, CASH cannot be refund one, who say can be refund, my staffs were informed that cash deposit is non-refundable too' I was like 'OK', they are your staffs and for sure they will support whatever you said right! Honestly speaking i dont really like the way she (the manager JAS/JES) talks.

Will never go back to Aegean again!

Headed to Aegean Spa at The Central for our couple spa massage! :P JH thought I would be bringing him to another eatery place thus I purposely pretended to forget the unit no and halt to a stop at Aegean Spa to his surprise. Verdict: Nice & friendly staff BUT it wasn't 30min body scrub + 60min Body Massage as mentioned on their posters as the whole process ended exactly at 6.30pm - which is just 1hour only?!

Lewin brought me to Aegean Spa & Retreat at Central.
one of the prestige winners of the 2009 Singapore Women’s Weekly Best in Beauty Spa Award.
the receptionist and therapist were all friendly i like.
i had a relaxing bath and massage while he got a body scrub and massage as well.
the session was great all rejuvenated and refreshed !
