Alveda @ Far East Plaza

I love Alveda because only their gelish manicure would last 3-4 weeks. All other gelish that i tried would only last at most 2 weeks.
Their staff are friendly, and they hardly rush you through the session unless you go during peak hour.

However, they recently short changed me of their service. I called in to ask when the CNY surcharge would start, and made my appointment before the surcharge dates.
Unfortunately, when I arrived, I noticed the signboard which stated the date I booked was a surcharged date too. It’s either the info given to me was WRONG or their boss changed the dates without informing poor customers like me who didn’t want to pay the surcharge.

They didn’t charge me the surcharge however, as I was a package holder. BUT guess what?
I asked for CLASSIC manicure and pedicure which usually includes scrub and massage, but they SKIPPED THESE SERVICES DURING THE CNY PERIOD.

I am totally disappointed by them because I would rather pay the surcharge than to be shortchanged. I mean, the whole point of going for classic treatments is that I can get the dead skin off professionally before CNY! Now I have to make another booking elsewhere…

can try alveda at far east plaza.. i love the girls there. been with them for the longest time.. but i tried their gelish nails and dont really like it.. but that was when they first started the service.. the traditional pedi and mani work is good.. cant compare to those that i have been to (although not that many)..

Shop name's Alveda, overall must say the service there quite good but I think the credits goes to the lady who served me yesterday! Her name's Joanna, and I think I'll go back to her for mani/pedi sessions!
