i bought a voucher from alldealsasia$38 and i opted for 5 EPL sessions for lower leg. Upon reaching there im being explained by the sales person that because this is a promotiononly 25 shots are given for each side of lower leg. If i wish to add moreit is $1 per shot. And i have to go on consecutive months missing a session will forfeit the rest of remaining sessions. (THIS WAS NOT SPECIFIED IN THE VOUCHER’S T&C!) And upon lying on the therapy bedi am then being explained by the therapist that 25 shots is a very small area (think of the length of area by spreading yr forefinger and thumb)min 100-200 shots are required for each lower leg..(SO thinki have 25 shots covered by the voucherso I AM REQUIRED TO TOP UP MIN$75 for each leg??) And at this time the sales person walked in and said i can try with topping up either $10/$20 for each leg to TRY covering the area where hair follicles are more visible..if any exceeding shots then i can pay a bit more late HAHA!! okay so i told themi don;t want to be shocked by the top up price afterwards so i will only want to topup $10 for each leg (ie extra 10 shots for each lower leg). Indeed35 shots only covered TOP part of my leg and a very small area towards the side…okay end of EPL session and im ushered to the reception area..the salesperson began to sell..saying that “you seeadding 10 shots per leg is definitely not enough to see any visible results. in additionyou can only visit us once a month. So i would strongly recommend you to take up our Xmas promo of purchasing additional shots in bundle then you can spread it out for the remaining 4 sessions.” i didn’t want to because she was pushing me the $350 packagei told her that i have budget constraint. then she moved on to say that “how about u try the $150 package then the $20 today i waive off for you and u will get 40 shots extra for the remaining 4 sessions. even if you top up $20 for each sessionin the end you are paying $100 and some areas are not covered by the EPL too.” i told her i don’t want and wanted to pay the $20 straightaway the salesperson and the therapist continued to persuade in unison saying that”if you buy the Xmas promotion packageyou can even visit every 2 weeks instead of once a month and you see you already have paid for the voucherwhy not just try out the additional shots package and have some visible results? And the additional package will cost about $0.80 per shot only.” in the endi bought the $150 packageand i strongly think that once the 4 sessions ends (by end of jan) i will not ever go back there again!

I thk 12 shots is too little for Brazilian! I ever did more than 20 shots for that area.. Even for underarms is too little for 12 also.. (I did at other place at $1/shot this is not a deal of cos but because i am member so i can get this price..)

Agreed their service very sucks.. I did underarms there.. Their beautician just putted the handheld on my underarm and u can feel it is just tapping on my skin not TOUCH! i really wonder if the light did went in or no!

I just came back from the first session of Forearm IPL. (purchased from Juztoday). I have done multiple IPL sessions on the armpits and Full Leg so I know what is the minimum standard to expect. I am extremely disappointed by their service.

The shaver they used was so blunt, the experience was not good. I complained about the shaver being used before and she said that if they used a new one, it may cut the customers, and also because my hair was long thats why it was difficult to shave, and not because the shaver was blunt.

I did not want to lie down on the bed because the towel had lots of dust/hairs on it.

After the 20 shots on each arm, she wanted to proceed with additional shots but i firmly refused. She then went on to say that I have wasted a trip here because my arm is so hairy there will be no use even with 5 sessions. Not getting a response from me, she swiped my arm with some alcohol/toner and told me to buy the toner at a cheap price of $58 for 200ML.

She then followed me out to the counter, where there was another staff who started to sell me the shots package at S$200 for 250 shots. (instead of S$2 per shot quoted previously). When I said it was too expensive and I was not interested, she said, its only S$0.80 per shot what u mean expensive???

The entire session was extremely unhappy and I left, with both arms still painful due to the rough shaving and IPL.

The most disappointing experience!
I called last week to inquire about the deal and to ensure that $38 is the value for the complete and permanent hair removal (underarm). I was told over the phone that it is guaranteed that the hair will be removed permanently. Then I asked the customer service that I will proceed to buy the voucher from deal.com but she informed me that I can also pay the salon directly. So I make my appointment today17/05 at 3 pm. When I reach there the receptionist asked me about the voucher and I told her what their customer service had informed me (no need to buy online). The receptionist emphasized that the voucher is needed and asked me to go online and purchase the voucher. When I go online the deal was closed and could not buy online. The marketing manager who witnessed all my conversation with the receptionist said nothing or at least she speaks in Mandarin with the receptionist. They did not even apologize. After the marketing manager finished her conversation with the receptionist the latter talked to me and try to sell a package. She said: “to be honest with youthis $38 is not enough to permanently remove underarm hairall the people who bought the deal had top up more than $450 for an efficient results.” I told her that I am sorry but I thank God that I did not buy this voucher.

I bought 2 vouchers with them under deals.com. We called to make appointment for 2 person (me and my friend) on a Saturday. Initially the receptionist accepted our booking but after hearing its under voucher booking, she said we need to come in different time slot as she do not have avail for 2 person on Saturday. So i told her to check which Saturday she has slot for 2 person with the same timing, she just keep telling me that they have limited beds (only 4 beds) so she cannot have 2 person on the same time slot. I think this is a very stupid reason and simply ridiculous!

If they do not accept 2 booking/appointment at the same time, please specify in the T&C!!

Things to note about the salon
This is my first IPL underarm hair removal, and I had no idea the package I paid was for 10 shots of IPL on each underarm. I was asked if I would like to increase 10 shots on each side for $1 per shot. I declined and the beautician emphasized the effectiveness of increasing the number of shots on the first time. Still I declined and she didn’t hard sell further.
I couldn’t see the effectiveness, perhaps it is because this is my first time. And when I had gone home, I saw that she had not shaved off for me very well.
