Very clean, calm and well-designed interior

Well I don't quite understand the negative reviews on this website. It seems that those who've left the negative reviews tend to be cheapskate Groupon users or people who do not do their research and rudely assume it's a happy-ending spa.

I've been to this spa twice or thrice, and I've always received very good service from both the receptionist and the therapists. The receptionist always tries her best to accommodate to my schedule even though I've been making rather last minute appointments on the phone, and I haven't been disappointed so far.

The therapists who've worked on me are very skilled, professional and respectful. Unlike some spas where the therapists can be very chatty, the therapists I've gotten at Ignite 88 are so far, very considerate. They make small talk for a short few seconds, asking about the kind of pressure you'd prefer and perhaps a few lifestyle questions to see which muscles are most tensed up.

I might say that the name of the spa is perhaps not very well-chosen (thus making some think that it's one of those sleazy places), but other than that, they've got good service, great therapists and a very clean, calm and well-designed interior.

Hello JL, please watch what you are saying - Groupon users are still legitimate consumers, they paid money (though at a discount) for a trial service and not beggars!

Unhappy customer

I made an appt with ignite 88 for a 60 minute body massage. I was given the time slot at 4.15pm. As it was my first time, I was worried could not find the place, so I arrived at 4pm. I waited til 4.45pm. I asked the counter lady ( was told her name is Leon or Deon?), she said the customer before me was late for 15 minutes ( he or she arrived at 3.15 instead of 3pm), hence the delay. When it was 4.30pm, I asked her to go and check, she kept on saying ' finishing and coming out soon", I don't understand the spa policy, if you saw the customer came late and you did not want to cut short his or her time, you should have the courteosy to call me. When I showed my unhappiness, I was told by her not to say anymore , if I am not happy, I can consider go other place. Thanks.
