Hair stylist could not even cut a simple high slope, rude and was defensive when consulted on the poor workmanship.

The guy has no brain.. cut until chin when asked for shoulder length. Terrible service

I am asking for the short cut. Previously the other stylist whom cut my hair mentioned need to cut one and zero side. So I explained this to the stylist, end up they said no zero cut. How on earth they are talking? Must show the hair cut photo to them then they know what to do?!!! Botak hair now. I demanded a compensation for all these.

Not gonna talk about their hair cutting skills, which is nothing to about about. More on my experience being an ex-franchisee. If you have the money to go into business go elsewhere. Poor management, unscrupulous business ethics and totally devoid of empathy. They will see you when you first opened and the next time you meet them is probably when you surrender you outlet. Management has no qualms about opening more and more stores around your vicinity because “if we don’t, someone else will.” What Nonsense! Have you thought about our business after parting more than $150K of our hard earned money and if we are making ends meet! Crooks. I had never ever patronise any of they crappy brands since I left the kcuts franchise and never looked back. Good riddance bad rubbish. Their business is due for a serious Boycotting.

Substandard wishy washy timeslots that your individual locations keep changing particularly at the moment with the paya lebar square one the latest culprit of closing far too early as it is of a friday evening with over at least 30 minutes still and the last time slot says 9.50pm exact so it is extremely poor excuses again for the hairstylists staff to keep giving that they are closing early to whatever reasons from no customers to just felt like closing early. Unextremely unfair and biased towards people who work late and need a late night haircut.

Went there, asked for a slope on the sides and trim the very tips of the hair on top, ended up getting my sides completely shaved and losing 1 inch of hair on top. Did some research on KCuts after that and found out that nothing about the place is Korean. The founders are 3 local fellas who studied Accountancy in NTU, with 0 experience in hair styling, with the only thing "Korean" about these guys is their marketing. Save your money and your hair by not going here.

I went to kcuts at great world today. I told the hairdresser that I would like to cut 1cm and even used my finger to show how long I wanted him to cut and he agreed. He then roughly and forcefully combed my hair and it was extremely painful and horrible. A lot of my hair fell out and I could even sense his impatience. I winced and geared up a bit but did not complain since I didn’t want to be rude and I was sure he knew how painful it was for me but he continued to brush my hair using a lot of strength. Later, he then cut about five times the length I instructed him to and when I asked him what he was doing he gave a rude reply and shrugged it off. He did not listen to a word I said and just cut the way he wanted. I was extremely angry and upset as he even cut my hair slanted. It looked horrible and I broke into tears. I lost so much hair from the cutting the combing. Never coming back!! (Review not yet verified)

I took my teenage daughter to Downtown East Kcut. Bought a ticket and was told new rule no fringe service. So in the end, my daughter had a shoulder length all straight as in whole head! Obviously she wasn’t happy! Basic fringe also can’t be provided. The lady was rude and hostile too. I could have ask for a refund as we wasn’t aware of their no fringe rule. So what if you alrdy hv fringe? They won’t touch it?! Jokers!! So ladies, if you want a Ah Gong hairstyle pls visit Kcut. For sure we are not going back! (Review not yet verified)

Actually, i found a very professional hairdresser at K-cut safra. Her skill is really good. What a waste when K-cut changed its policy to no trim and no layer cut. It sounds like k-cut only serve male. I have a suggestion, maybe charge a little big higher if customer request for trimming or layer cut. (Review not yet verified)

I used to be a regular at Nex. Was gonna go for some trim cut today and was yelled by a aunty that they changed their cut hair policy to only straight cut. No layer no whatever style only straight cut. They even had a poster with pictures of what they don't cut. I just walked out and went to EC house for a cut instead and they did a wonderful job at trim and abit layer for me in just 10 mins. Probably not gonna support Kcut after this stupid rules cut. When I walked into the salon, the barber looked at me and told me what hairstyle she would be cutting before I could even say anything. When I corrected her and informed her my usual haircut, she shot looks at me and carried on, and doing a very poor job at that. She must have realised how bad a job she did because she was frantically looking at the mirror and moving back and forth trying to even my sides. When she was done cutting, she told me that the next time I cut my hair, I should take a photo of what she did as I did not know what I was saying. Outlet at Causeway Point: Hair stylist: Vincent Ang Haircut is ok but the cleaning up was horrible. The clean up was very shabby. Hair was not brush off properly from my neck and head. Hair stylist did not bother to brush off hair that was cut and was dangling on my head. (Review not yet verified)

Ownself cut also can cut better than this? Not kidding. I don’t even know how they can employ people with such standards. Is it any Tom Dick & Harry with a pair of hands can be employed? Hair cut is uneven and choppy from the front and side. From behind, look like she use a bowl as outline and just cut. But from the side it’s a lump of hair. How is it possible that the bottom part of the hair looks thicker than the top of the head. Don’t even dare to go back because they sure as hell don’t have the skills to salvage this mess. Asked for a #2 high slope haircut from Irene Tan @hougang mall branch. What I got were my slopes being the same as when they were uncut, had to ask for it to be shorter but it was still very long at the end. Furthermore my sides are not even, with one side longer than the other. She didn't use the mirror to show me the back, which was also very long. A highly unpleasant cutting experience. Understaffed, and they let people buy tickets despite that they would not be able to fulfil. There were like 16-18 people ahead of me, without me knowing. There is a tiny queue number at the payment kiosk, you need to take note of. Don't fall for this trap. They don't refund you if you can't wait (Review approved by Beauty Undercover)

Rude Stylist @k-cuts Tampines 1 mismanaged queue with the approval from company. On 23 June 2021 @13:50, I bought a ticket for my son at k-cuts Tampines 1. My queue number was 209. The queue number on queue board was 208. At the time, there were two female Stylists attending to their customers. When one of the seat was available, I wait patiently for the stylist to call me in. However, to my dismay, she gestured another man to go in. I was puzzled. I waved to her my ticket. She simply gave me a weird look and continue to attend to that man. I thought perhaps that man has some VIP voucher and thus able to cut queue. i let the mater rest and continue to wait for my turn thinking that may be it will not take long. I even told my son its ok to let him go first. (While i was waiting, the other stylist left the shop, leaving only the rude stylist). However, things happened again! When she was done with the first man, she again asked another man (which appeared from no-where) to go before me! I showed the rude stylist my ticket and asked why. She explained that it was because they are holding the 1-for-1 voucher and she had queue them manually earlier on, by scribbling 209A and 209B on the vouchers. I asked her why did she not tell me when i was buying the ticket that there are two persons before me? And why she acknowledged their (209) ticket but not mine! She ignored my questions and went inside the shop to get ready to serve that (2nd) man. At this juncture, i realised that she is not going to acknowledge her mistake. Thus, i asked for a refund. She brushed me off rudely and said 'No! No! No!'. She was outrageously rude, high-handed and with zero customer service. I left with the ticket and wrote to k-cuts. They reply asking me to call them to "further understand the situation'. I called and the lady over the phone simply elaborate again the voucher promotion and the manual queuing system by the stylist. There was no apologies and assurance that such practices will not happen again. And to rub salt to the wound, she even said i 'should have check with the stylist on how many people is queuing before me!' I bought the ticket. My queue number was 209. The queue number on queue board shown 208. No one was allowed to wait inside the shop. No one was queuing outside the shop. So should i have any doubt that it would be my turn next? I am simply speechless and time will tell if company with such unfair practices would last. (Review not yet verified)

My hair was cut by Jason Chang at the poiz outlet and he didn't know what he was doing. I showed him a photo of taper fade hairstyle that I wanted. He went ahead to cut my hair so short that it is close to botak. I think he doesn't speak English at all because he didn't say anything in English when I told him I want taper fade hairstyle in English and show him the photo. Only after he cut my hair, did he tell me in Mandarin that my hair is not suited for this style and when I asked him what hairstyle is suitable in Mandarin, he only said my previous one was suitable. He didn't even know the name of the hairstyle.
