Recommended salon

I went there for a rebounding but my original hair is very frizzy and difficult to manage. I was a bit scared at the beginning, but the creative director Fennie handled it very well. Now my hair is smooth and silky, good to have someone to trust in Singapore as it is very different from the US, thumbs up :) ! Recommended salon :)

Shabby job due to Groupon deal

I was there on Monday to do a perm. Was a Groupon deal, paid $68 and add-on $30 for a digital perm.

Washed my hair for the first time after the perm on Wednesday evening and the curls straightened!!! Perm lasted 2 days!!

Went back to Mine Salon on Thursday morning to request for a full refund - $98 and was flatly rejected.

They did offer to re-perm my hair, but which stylist will recommend 2 perms in 4 days? I may end up with hair looking like straw.

I insisted on a refund as it was a very bad job done. They flatly refused, even the extra amount they collected directly from me. Owner Fennie even challenged that I file a complaint with CASE and Groupon.

In my opinion, they are out to make the extra $ without any intention of providing the service to keep continual customers.

I did a digital perm with them 2 years ago and it was all good. So this shabby job could be due to the Groupon deal - they probably did not use the L'oreal product they claim they would.

Dear Audrey, thank you for your honest feedback.

I am sorry to hear about your unpleasant experience.

If I can add, the curl chosen for your hair is loose and natural. This curl is not meant to last much longer, as compared to digital perms.Regarding the refund, please let me explain our company policy. Our rule is to offer a free service to make it right and make sure you walk out satisfied.

I am sorry we couldn't find a compromise, especially given that you are among our regular customers.

Service really sucks

Honestly speaking, the service really sucks. I went there for a haircut and coloring last weekend, and the staff whose name is Leo is truly a lousy stylist in both professional field and communication skills. During the 2 hrs, he kept on despising my appreance in order to convince me to accept his idea for hairdo. What's more, he tried to win my trust by means of backbing his colleagues, which depicts a mean and contemptable nature.

In my opinion, to be a good stylist requries one to be sociable, pleasant and positive. Anyways, if this is a typical standard of service, you may just forget my suggestion.

Dear Michelle,

thank you for your feedback.

I am sorry to hear about your experience with Leo. Last July he has been with us for only a few weeks, and didn't stay with us after November. He was the least experienced of our stylists.

I had a discussion with Leo about your case before he left Mine's Salon, and I hope we will have a chance to let our senior stylists give you a better experience soon.

Regards,

Management

My new hair cut - Great Deals from Streetdeals.com

I recently purchased a deal from Streetdeal.com.sg , for Hair Colour!! Cost $28 for a Loreal hair colour, free cut, wash and blow! But because this price is meant for shoulder length hair and mine was over shoulder length so i just need to top up additional $20.
Not bad for such a deal. Usually when i go for my hair colour, it will cost me like at least $100 ++.

I would definitely look out for more of these good deals!!

Cheap and good hair services!

Lately I’ve been trying to pull off the centre parting look. My fringe grew to that awkward length whereby I can’t put them to the side as they were too short for that yet too long to remain as bangs. Having mixed response to my centre parting, but I’m cool 8)

As mentioned on my Facebook, I went for my hair treatment at Mine’s Salon recently. Do visit them if you are looking for cheap and good hair services! My stylist is Jerry ^^

Definitely going back for all my haircuts from now on

Had my hair "chopped off" at Mine's Salon @ Far East Plaza. Jerry; my hairstylist was really patience with my hair and he was damn professional, trimming my fringe over and over again until he gets the job done perfectly. He's really good! Even the way he washes my hair is so different from other salons. Definitely going back for all my haircuts from now on. HEH HEH.

Me too. Whenever I go back for a haircut I will always request jerry to do it for me. I felt that the stylist's skill wasn't very good as compared to Jerry's.

Dyed hair ash grey

Yay! My new hair color Ash Brown. Dyed at Mine's Salon at Far East Plaza. My hair's really long but they charge me only for $100! Cheap. Includes treatment. My colleague Carol Chan did it together with me. She dyed it deep purplish-red and it was uber nice as well!

After exam haircut

I’ve tried quite a few salon in Far East and i really like this one, i tink its one of the best in Far East Plaza considering both price and quality. There’re a few nicer salons there that charged me $30 bucks for a wash and cut which i think is abit too expensive for me. And sometimes the result did not turn out to worth $30bucks. Then there’re some that charge $12bucks instead and 9 out of 10 times, the haircut’s pretty lousy…

So as you can see, this salon is quite affordable and they give really good haircuts. My fav hairstylist was this guy call Daniel. He actually makes you feel that your cut costs more than what you pay!
