I am very surprised that the skill of eye rushes extensions of Ms. Maki. I did it at other salons before in Japan but I found it it very natural, very light but made it with more volume ! It is also very natural look so everyone ask me where I did it. So I recommend many friends and they really like eye rushes extension.

My recent lash extension with Queens market was so badly done that it was painful, uncomfortable and most importantly, it left me with balding batches! To my greatest horror, I realised that instead of a classic strand by strand extension, I saw from the lashes that dropped out that Maki stuck up to FOUR strands of heavy lashes onto one single poor natural lash. Yes, I have done enough extensions to know that it is supposed to be 4D extensions, BUT the lashes she used wasn't the feathery light ones used for 4D, hence it weighed down my natural lashes n caused it to drop significantly over just a week! I know i wanted more volume, but I did not ask for 4D extensions, and she should tell me that perhaps I did not have enough lashes to achieve the volume i wanted instead of unprofessionally sticking so MANY strands to one lash. I did it just a few days before my overseas trip, and I had to urgently find a lash artist overseas to remove it to prevent further damage. The artist also commented that it is not the correct way to do extensions. I am not going back to them again.

I've been going to Queens market from the old location. The new space that is next to cake spade is so spacious and giving you the relaxing feeling I went to do the eyelash extensions, facial and herbal steam in here. All the staffs are professional and know what they are doing. I totally recommend you to go and try

There was a promotion to experience La Cage at $35, it's said to help with fatigue, menstrual cramps, and blood circulation, I chose the one for detox. I didn't get the name of the staff who set up the bath for me but it was nice of her to check on how I was doing every 10 minutes as it may get too warm and stuffy inside. La Cage is a cozy space in a tent which acts like a sauna, a towel and water bottle will be provided for you :) I definitely had a great sleep after experiencing La Cage!

I went on the 23rd of may 2017 and was warmly greeted by the staff :) I did the lymphatic facial and loved it !felt Super relaxed and my face was instantly softer and glowing . Do note that this facial isn't for those who are looking for extractions as I would say this is more of a 'maintenance' facial . If your skin condition is quite bad, perhaps this wouldn't be the best treatment for you . Overall, i loved it and would returning again!

I have been to Queen's market numerous times since last year and so far, everything had been really great!

Maki's nail art never failed to elicit praise from family and friends and Mami's facials were extremely relaxing and effective. I had the pleasure of being served by a new therapist during my latest visit today. She was friendly, smiled lots and you can tell she really knows her stuff. What left me utterly disappointed was the mandarin-speaking staff who gave me the sheet to sign at the end.

I asked if it is possible to shift forward an appointment I already made and the answer was a flat "no" and "we are full" from her, without even checking the appointment system! And i know she couldn't have memorised their appointments as I had to provide her with details of the appointment I made.

She then warned that i had better not change my appointment as it would be a long time before i can get a slot! I have never met anyone as discourteous and lazy, for lack of a better word.

Yes, i know it is the busy CNY period...and yes, she would most likely been right that the appointments are full, but seriously, she couldn't have walked about 5 steps to the computer to make sure? I have an existing package with them, but I'm not sure if I would come back again after my package finishes.

It's a real pity as all the other therapists there are very skilled and simply wonderful! :(

I love the lymphatic facial and the after glow that I experienced immediately. The facial therapist is very gentle and the whole process was a calming and enjoyable one. First timers are entitled to 50% off as well so do give it a try. The representative from Singapore did try to urge me to sign their packages but the facial therapist whose Japanese was polite and smiled throughout.

Facial – apart from effectiveness, the comfort of a facial massage is key factor when determining the quality of a facial. Certain parlours utilise machines too much and perform minimal facial massage by hand. Most of the time, as a customer, receiving massages by hand feel much better and relaxing. At Queen’s Market, the staff’s hands almost never leaves your face, providing non-stop facial, neck and shoulder massages. All products used are from Japan and are gentle on the skin.
Eyelash extensions – Queen’s market impressed me with their service from start to finish. What surprised me was that instead of using tape on the under eyes, they will place eye masks and that certainly was a plus point for me as it felt really rejuvenating. Eyelashes were so natural that little people could tell I had extensions on. Also, if you are unsatisfied with the result, they will gladly redo it to tailor to your needs.

I had a good experience at Queen’s Market. It was easy to secure an appointment through SMS. The place is cosy, clean and comfortable. My therapist is Mami san. I did the Lymphatic Facial Massage. Although the facial did not address my blackheads concern, my face was instantly clearer, brighter and more radiant after the treatment. The massage is superb and very relaxing till I fell asleep. There was no hardselling and Mami san is very polite and professional.

What I feel can be improved would be asking about my concerns and explaining the facial treatment process and steps.

Overall, I will recommend this treatment if you are looking for an instant brightening result with zero downtime, and relaxing de-stress time.

I am one of the regular customers of the Queen’s Market and always visit them for my makeovers and such. One day i decided to get their nail service after watching another customer’s nails that were looking beyond beautiful. This was my first time but I was satisfied as I knew I would be treated by the best! It was hard for me to choose among so many designs and colors that were available but the staff did help me out by suggesting what will look the best on my nails. And viola my nails after getting the nails service were like those of models. I couldn’t believed that were my own hands. My nails were literally shining like diamonds but with a little bit of pop of color and design carved on them. Not only has this but they also used a special kind of oil in the service for the dry and chapped skin. I would recommend all out there to get their nails done from them at reasonable prices. Word from a happy customer!

Being a college student I have always kept long and pointed nails that futher beautify my hands as well. I heard about the Queen’s Market exceptionally far out nail service through a friend. So I decided to give it a try. First off the staff at the salon was way too friendly as they helped me out with all of designs and colors they had for the nail service. I was definitely amazed by those interesting patterns that were going to be on my nails after a while. The fun part is that the color would stay on nails for around a month! so I chose the Sakura design. My nails were definitely pampered and I was so satisfied with the end results that my nails were completely transformed like never before without being clipped or hurt. Can’t wait for the next month to try on a new design and a completely new color for my nails!! Best nail service ever.

I’m actually super sensitive when it comes to skin or skin problems or even the products that I use for beautifying it. My skin has been dull and dry lately due to the over hectic routine. I visited the Queen’s Market after I read about them online. I was always scared to experiment with my facial features but that never lessen my urge to look beautiful with enhanced features. I naturally have thick full brows but my eyelashes are thin and short. So I had to put on fake lashes every time I was out with my friends and family. As I went there and was attended by Mami herself, she convinced me to try there lash extension treatment. I was nervous at first that my original lashes would be damaged but after seeing the end results all of my worries were gotten away. I’ve now fuller and long lashes of my own! I took their natural lashes in black. No one not even my own family can recognize that I’ve taken a lash treatment as the results speak for the quality of their work. I am so thankful to Maki for my beautiful natural looking lashes that compliment my eyes too. It also saved me the trouble to apply double coats of expensive mascara to the lashes. It’s cost effective and won’t be heavy on your pocket too. All of the young girls and women who want those dramatic yet voluminous lashes of their own should visit Queen’s Market without wasting any time. Trust me you won’t be disappointed at all!

As working women I hardly have time to look after myself since so occupied with the work schedule and such. But this busy schedule and polluted environment does affect my skin rather damages it. I couldn’t afford those expensive beauty treatments too. My colleague once told me about Queen’s Markey and their amazing salon services at such discounted rates. So I decided to visit them on a weekend and to be honest this proved to be the best decision as I was amazed by their services and uber professional behavior. I was so very worried about my dull skin so decided to try their signature lymphatic massage facial. It’s a quick beauty treatment but has tremendous results on the skin. I was completely satisfied by its results and my skin felt tight and glowing. The best part is there are no machines used in any of their facials. Simple and organic products are used that are light on skin and you can feel the results the moment you walk out of the salon. My skin isn’t dull and rough anymore and it never felt so good and young before! I’d strongly recommend them to all of the women out there who don’t want to waste huge tons of money and time as well. Their facials are the best in town without the shadow of a doubt!

I am introduced to Queens Market by my friend. I tried the Lymphatic Facial Massage that lasted for around an hr and it was an amazing experience. It was a therapeutic experience and the facial and neck massage was effective in stress relieve and it allows one to relax greatly. After the facial, there were immediate results such that the face became brighter and there was less swelling on the face. The service of the friendly beautician was excellent as well. Definitely worth a return trip to Queens Market again.

I tried the Lymphatic Facial Massage for 1hour. It was very therapeutic and relaxing. My skin becomes clearer and looks more refreshed right after the massage. The therapist massaged my face, scalp, neck and collar with good exertion of strength. I felt an improvement in blood circulation. It drove the stress and fatigue I had from work. I will definitely recommend my friends to try the Lymphatic Facial Massage!

I took the ION remedy facial treatment of Queen’s Market. I’ve sensitive skin and was always afraid of trying those beauty products and treatments but not anymore since after taking this super healthy facial I feel like my skin has been rejuvenated. Only a couple of products are used and the face has been given a proper massage purely by hands. It truly works wonders for the skin within only 90 minutes! It’s a natural remedy for all types of skin. My skin was cleansed and exfoliated and then ION cream pack was applied to balance the pH of skin too. My skin felt hydrated and super soft. The most important part is that it provides a slimming effect to the face getting it in a proper shape. My face no longer has a sagging skin and feels way too healthier and beautiful just like those of models. I’ve now become a regular customer and make sure to get my ION remedy once in every month. It’s pretty affordable too and you don’t want to miss it!

I had the pleasure of visiting Queen’s Market after a friend recommended it to me. She has been a regular customer and always used to talk about their beauty services. I am so fond of playing with my nails and decorating them with funky colors and different stuff. I’ve heard about their nail services so though of giving it a try. I must say that their salon feels just like home. The staff and owners are so friendly and cooperative. They attend to you individually and deliver results just like you want. I asked for their Calgel nails as I wanted to have a nail treatment that won’t damage my actual nail color or texture. They stock so much different design that it was real hard for me to choose at first. Honesty I wanted to try all of them! Once I got my Calgel nails I couldn’t believe that my hands look extremely beautiful. I was also surprised to know that Calgel last for about 4 weeks without getting dry and it doesn’t peel off too. I have now shinier yet colored nails at such affordable rates. All of my friends have been asking about it and I’m so very glad that I visited Queen’s Market. Since then I’ve been a regular customer and all thanks to the talented Maki for having such fun rather great beauty services for all of us. Couldn’t be happier!

Visited Queen's Market on the 9th of December and was pleasantly suprised by Maki san's work ethic. She was professional but not in a cold and standoffish like the people in some heartland salons. It was my first eyelash extensions experience and i was a little nervous but Maki san's warm and pleasant demeanour helped me relax. The end result was pretty fluttery lashes which contrary to my intital expecations were not heavy at all! There was a temporary stinging feeling around 2 hours after the extensions but otherwise it was great job done.

Visited the Queen's market yesterday and tried their signature Lymphatic Facial Massage. The entire experience was very comfortable and worthy (especially for the current BUC 50% promotion)! The shop might be abit easy-to-miss if you din search carefully as it's a small door between some BBQ restaurants leading up to 2nd floor. Despite the relatively small space, it is very cozy which made me feel more like visiting a friend instead of going to a beauty salon. ;)

I was attended by Mami san who can speak very good English and is very friendly and lovely lady! During the 60 min facial massage, I was sooo at ease that I fell asleep several times and woke up to discover my skin become more radiant and moisturised! Besides that, I also noticed my jawline reli seems more define! I guess the massage (ard the jaw & neck) is helpful is 'draining' out the detox and water retention... and I only hope the effect could be lasting... =P

The next morning, I do observe a fairer complexion and slimmer face (hoping I'm not having some illusion)!

Some after thoughts... after visiting some 'famous' local chained facial salons Vs Jap salons, I feel the local ones (maybe not all, but those that I've been to) should really try to improve their customer service & attitudes - they are soooo pushy before u sign their packages and turn into hasty standards/diff attitude after they got ur $$$... Worst are those who kept criticising ur skin so that they could get u to "upgrade" ur already-expensive package...

I just had my facial treatment on 20th July and it was an awesome experience. I would definitely come back here again and while talking with the beauticians there I found out that they are rather new in SG so I thought of writing this review to share this great place. This isn't my first time going to a facial but it is my first in a Japanese salon.

The reason being since I was interested in Japanese culture, I wanted to try their facial too and manage to find out about Queen`s Market since my workplace was around the area. The facial treatment I had was really a relaxing and refreshing one, and the beautician doesn't stop massaging and caring for your skin for that entire hour! Maybe just a 1-2 mins to get equipment that's it, or maybe is the treatment I chose because from previous experience from other salons, I was left alone supposedly to rest for quite awhile. The location seems ok though it is still a 10mins walk from either Chinatown/Tanjong Pagar MRT but I can go grab a bite at Maxwell Food Center after I was done so it was alright for me. Price wise it is really affordable as in comparison to my previous at another location. And considering that all products used are Japanese products and everything else Japanese, I would say that this is really reasonable. I would definitely come back since after I was done with my facial, another treatment caught my interest haha. Service and ambiance as stated in BUC, the rooms are not enclosed but divided by partitions but to be honest, I don't find that my privacy is invaded as apparently this is an by appointment only salon so when it was my appt time, there was probably only 1 other customer over the other end so I don't find myself getting uncomfortable at all and just listening to the radio that is playing (of course SG radio). The beauticians are really sweet and friendly, their service are really pleasant and not to mentioned skilled! If you want to enjoy full Japanese service like you're in Japan (maybe practicing your Japanese alittle like I did as I tried conversing with them), I would definitely recommend Queen's Market!
