Had my eyebrows threaded, and Vini did an excellent job!

Their threading service was only consistent because I insisted on the same therapist each time. Since she’s left it’s deteriorating, leaving my eyebrows scanty and asymmetrical. I took the package not because I was impressed by the brand but the therapist. That was MY Decision. To my horror the outlet closed without notice and we have no idea when it will reopen. Upon enquiring, without explanation, I was directed to another outlet a significant distance away. To clarify, I empathise with labour intensive business that have been resilient by pandemic business impacts and inflationary pressures and happy to help them. That however does not mean that they deduct at random, as they have held me ransom to the package. Basic decency calls for the customer to be informed of price changes beforehand. Furthermore, there are two points of common sense as to why a consumer would take a package. A price lock in and savings. When I brought up the issue of not being informed of price increases and as a customer exercised my right to question it, I received a deflecting and arrogant response from a member of management on what I had saved as an outcome of the package. The best gimmick of all they called it “value added services”. Why would I take a package if I did not enjoy cost savings? When I hit the lows of disappointment and was leaving the country anyways, I asked if they could use the remaining package value for another service? I was given a service that was more expensive than the value of the package and literally told that it was the only service I could avail of. I then wanted to transfer the remaining value to someone else and I was told I could not. When I raised this matter again the management staff asked in a defensive tone “who told you that you cannot transfer?”. They are literally taking their customers for fools and their packages are the joyride only they gain from. There’s NOTHING in it for the customer. They are a disgraceful tarnish to many “Singapore brands” that are working to create positive brand images.

Rupinis remains my go to for waxing, it's been my top choice for a while. The staff is friendly, and the ambiance, complemented by soothing music, always creates a relaxing experience.
