Beautiful place to relax
Then, things became significantly better when I got to the hair salon. Turned out I have a new hair stylist in mind! He is actually pretty good. Though he messed up my hairdo and turned it into something entirely different.
The place: Salon de Choix is a beautiful place to relax while getting your haircuts. According to my friend, its cheap too! (Don’t ask me, my typical haircut is $2.80 at the market near my house.) I actually got treated like a real princess! Sigh! It was a pretty good experience. Hehehe.well, here is too another full year of no haircut!

Baby’s first haircut
Have been wanting to go somewhere to trim baby’s hair as it was getting pretty long at the sides. There are a few places that specialise in cutting hair for kids (with TV screens and seats that look like cars) but they were at places I usually won’t go (Plaza Singapura, Forum, Jurong etc) , so we procrastinated.
Decided on monday to go cut my fringe ( too long, very flat) and brought baby along to see if my long-time hairstylist Ben could give him a haircut too! Luckily, Ben wasn’t very busy that day (he usually has back-to-back appointments) and did a nifty job with squirmy baby (I was worried that the shaver might somehow cut off baby’s ear if baby jerked suddenly)
Tadah!
Before and after
I thought he looked a bit like little 木村拓哉 with longish hair haha
imageDaddy says the back looks a little punkish (well-suited for my naughty boy, I thought)
Ben assured me it’s the “IN” hairstyle (in Korea apparently) for little boys. Now everything Korean is supposed to be trendy haha.
