Friendly Staff & Great Customer Service

I've met Cindy in 2012 and since then, she has always been my manicurist. I'm happy and proud to know that she has now joined Seasons Nail Bar. I visited the Salon for the first time on 18 September and was being served by Charlotte. She is very experienced and well trained. Despite meeting each other for the first time, she managed to make me feel like home. I am looking forward to my next appointment with Seasons Nail Bar. :)

Superb manicurist

I am ecstatic to learn that Cindy has joined a bigger salon which now offers more slots & services as I get the flexibility to choose.I have been with Cindy from the time I was about to get married doing my bridal nails till now being a mummy. She is the one I look for when I need pretty nails and she never fail to amaze and impress me with her artistic flair. Her nail art is impressive! As she is also podiatrist-trained thus she is the one I trust with my ingrown nails. Looking forward to visit her again at the spacious new salon!

Great service & exquisite nailart

Got to know this salon through my long-term manicurist, Cindy as she became part of the team. Besides being highly skilled & meticulous in her nail art, Cindy is also very knowledgeable in regards to fungus/ingrown issues (which I often face). Really enjoy my manicure session here. Can't wait for the next!

Knowledgeable and Friendly

I was delighted to know that Cindy was venturing into a bigger salon with more timings available and conveniently located in a mall. I have been her customer ever since she did my bridal nails and I have loved every single set of nails that she did for me. Cindy is podiatrist-trained so she has the knowledge and experience to handle my ingrown toenail issues. She also teaches me how to maintain my nails to prevent further ingrowing of my toenails. Her dedication to her craft and professionalism has made me a steadfast customer. She is also highly talented in nail art and every work of hers is intricate and beautiful. Visiting her for my nail sessions has become a form of relaxation for me because she is very friendly and easy to talk to. I will definitely continue patronizing Seasons Nail Bar now that Cindy is there.

Rude and pushy staff

BAD SERVICE. Rude and pushy staff. Classic pedicure price with only express pedicure treatment. HORRIBLE.
I was in orchard road last Saturday and wanted to have a pedicure. I called up a few of my regular nail salons but it was all fully booked. I decided to try Seasons nail bar since I was able to get a slot within the next 40 mins. Worst decision ever….
When I called up to ask for the prices and the type of treatment, I confirmed to them that I would like just the classic pedicure, not the spa pedicure.
Upon reaching the shop, I was asked to be seated at the manicure table and the hard selling started. I told the staff that I am not interested. The lady who did my pedicure asked me at least 3 times whether I would like to do the spa pedicure. She told me that classic pedicure does not have scrub or massage. I argued that most other nail salons will have that included. But she said their shop is different.
She also added that without doing the spa, I will not have a lot of other standard treatment that other shops provide in a classic pedicure. As I just wanted to have my nails painted nicely, I told her politely that I would still prefer to continue with a classic pedicure.
I could feel that she was not very happy and went on talking about how good the spa pedicure was. she did a horrible job in shaping my nails and cutting my cuticles. IT WAS SO PAINFUL! I had to tell her to stop a few times.
Before painting my nails, she brought out the menu booklet and asked me to upgrade to spa treatment again and this time, she started promoting her packages. NON-STOP! I was really quite pissed off. So I told her quite sternly that I don’t want any of these. Then she started commenting about how bad my nails were and that I needed to get a regular pedicure shop.
I only had a tiny bit of lotion reluctantly put on half of my leg. No massage (unlike what was stated in their menu), No scrub.
There were 2 other customers next to me. Which also had the same issue. A lady next to me was “forced” to buy the fungus nail cream and the staff keep telling her how bad her nails were.
My pedicure ended in 30 mins and I had to pay in cash even before my nails were dried.
The staff just stood in front of me and said in chinese rudely “$40 xie xie!”
I definitely wont go back.

Staffs are so RUDE

I will NOT come back to this place. Staffs are so RUDE. I don’t understand their language but I know a customer and staffs are talking about me. Do I know you??
I believe they are not podiatrists, how come you can tell me I have athlete’s feet. A little bit bleeding under nail!!
I never ever have such an unpleasant time in my life. Just warning you, if you don’t speak Chinese, you better to avoid this salon.

Rude staff

Horrible service. The guy at the reception is exceptionally rude. Staff talk in Mandarin and Cantonese – about customers, in front of them, me included – not realising that some people may understand the language! Bought a package only because the products used are really good. However I’m glad the package is finished.

To the owners of this place, Read the reviews. All if us say the same thing. Rude staff. Too forceful with sales. Do something. Hopefully!

Horrible experience

Just completed a gel manicure and classic pedicure. Staff there were extremely rude, making comments in cantonese just because they thought I did not understand. I got nasty comments that I was too slow in choosing a color and I should just hurry up & leave right after my pedi was done even though there were no other customers and my nails had not even dried yet.

Also kept trying to charge for everything while being extremely unaccomodating – my gel mani did not include cuticles cutting, my nails did not match the color on the sample, my french tips were uneven which the staff blamed on my uneven nails and I couldnt even choose my nail shape (my nails were apparently too short though I had check with the staff before deciding to top up for a french mani).

Overall I felt that I had a horrible experience where normaly getting a mani-pedi is supposed to be fun.

Pedicure started to peel off after few hours

Bought a deal on groupon for a mani-pedi, but they insisted that my pedi was not classic and I should do it because the get manicure would not last. They hardsold their packages to me and they made me top up to a classic mani. But I think what was worse was that they pushed for a package by insinuating that I had to maintain the cleanliness on my foot and that I had a fungal infection on my toe. Then they pushed for me to buy the fungal spray for $58 by saying that my infection would spread quite seriously, etc. I declined after much insisting. Just to verify their claims, I went to a pharmacist the next day to check. I did not in fact have a fungal infection at all - it was just a bit of dead nail that did not need much treatment!

Furthermore, my pedicure did not last even a day and started to peel off a few hours after. This is definitely not a place I would recommend.

Update: Here is a photo - the fourth nails were already peeling on the day itself.

I would like to add that as for my manicure, the job is not very well done as well. Feels rather uneven, some parts thicker than the rest. Not sure if you can see too clearly under this lighting w an iPhone camera - but my friend also pointed out my nail shape was uneven when it should have been shaped better.

I have gone to other salons that are much cheaper and have gotten a much better result than this.

Embarrassed at being insinuated for being unkempt

I bought 2 groupons for a classic O.P.I mani pedi session and another one is for a classic O.P.I mani and gel color pedi. When I was there, I tried to swap the second coupon’s gel color to the mani and they refused and insisted I top up $30+ for the swap. So I did because that groupon is for my MIL and that was what she wanted.

Then, they told us that the gel color pedicure DOES not come with cleaning and buffing and removing dead skin. What kind of package is this?

My mother in law was okay with no treatment since she does pedicures regularly and shes getting tired of all the top ups we have to do. Then they kept harping on how unhygienic it was and shame her into going for it. So we had to top up another $30+. My MIL yielded because she was so embarrassed at being insinuated that shes unkempt.

Then the manicurist said that I have fungus. Wanted me to buy some treatment. At that point in time I was thinking to myself that I rather let my toe rot than to spend anymore money there. And as if it wasnt bad enough we have to top up $4 for the classic top coat to be of a decent brand because if we don't we are getting some unknown brand topcoat. I felt cheated because I paid for the O.P.I package yet how can you give me a top coat thats not O.P.I? As if all these were not bad enough, when we left, 3 mins later, I realised two of my toes color was rubbed off. I did not bang into anything and was especially careful so I do not know why, I went back, and the manicurist has went for lunch and this guy that was there told me that they finished the bottle of color on me so they cannot reapply on me and he showed me the bottle.

Then, I realised the bottle of polish is not O.P.I. When i questioned why I wasnt giving the O.P.I color selection, he came up with some lame excuse that all the color cards have brand names on and I am to be responsible for not noticing its not O.P.I.

In the end he found some similar color but its not just not the same because my color is matte and gritty with sparkles yet the color he chosed was shiny and no sparkles. I was SO TIRED of all these BS that I just went along. Before I left, I insisted that he give me the empty bottle of the original ”finished” bottle, and he did. I went home n reapplied the polish to complete my pedicure.

P.S they tried to get my to sign a package despite all the unpleasantry.

Totally loving my gel manicure

I am totally loving my gel manicure by Seasons Nail Bar. This is the second time I am doing gel nail in this nail place. This time I decided to try the Tiffany brand, previously I had tried the GellyFit brand. I chose a cherry tomato shade. The bright red shade looks flattering on my medium tanned skin. The colour came out nicely, and my nails are super glossy. <3 <3 I found out about this manicure and pedicure place on Groupon Singapore website. Since manicure & pedicure packages are cheaper from Groupon, I decided to try this newly opened place back in August. I tried the Gellyfit Gel Manicure then and was satisfied with the gel nail results. My gel manicure lasted for more than a month without any chipping or peeling. During my free soak-off session, I bought a package for 3 classic gel manicure and 7 classic pedicure, which costs me $357.14. It is more pricy than other nail places but I much prefer to go to a nail place that gives me a good experience and results. I like that the nail place was quiet, and rather hidden. Do note that the shop is small, it only has 3 sofas for pedicure soaking, and a table for manicure sessions. Their manicurists are well-trained, and did my nails with high standards. I do not have to tell the manicurists to re-do or correct any issues. One more thing, this nail place is not so pushy on you buying manicure/pedicure packages. Yes, they do ask you whether you want to buy any package. But they are not aggressive on selling their packages, which I like. I will let you all know whether the Tiffany gel manicure lasts as long as the Gellyfit.
