I went for a three hour session once. The therapist was an older lady but handiwork quite rough. Apparently owned by Japanese big boss but definitely not Japanese quality. Massage was soso. Wont go back again

Bought a 1 session massage on Fave. The massage was ok. However, the super hard selling at the end really kills the whole experience! Both the customer service rep & massage lady would join hand & keep pushing you to sign an expensive 10 session package to you. Kept rejecting them but they simply won't give up. End up very unwillingly bought a 4 session package from them. Really regretted stepping into this place.

I have been with them for 4 years, not because I like them but I find it so hard to step into the place to complete my package. Why? Because every visit is Hardsell. Even when the first sentence I tell them when I enter the place is, 'no Hardsell please. I don't want to change my package or add on.' Somehow, despite what I request, the girl will still tell me that my skin has changed from oily to sensitive or from oily to dry, and that I'll need this essence or this diamond whatever, or some oxygen thing, or some collagen thing. Please, I'm 33 and I have so much collagen that I don't mind making a donation. And please, I'm a doctor so I don't need your assessment of my skin. I've done dermatology to know that my skin is oily. Period. Another time, they didn't have the eye mask that was part of my package. They simply didn't tell me and just put my face mask over my eyes. 'My eye mask is a HOT eye mask mind you, obviously I know you are skipping it.' They gave me a lame excuse that it's out of stock and they thought I was sleeping so didn't tell me. I shan't even elaborate on the conversation after but it's obvious their attitude changes after they succeed in swindling your money and making you buy a 30x package (I have 21 more sessions to go but I can't torture myself anymore). I won't bother you with all the details but basically, I have decided that I rather forgo my 2000 bucks than to see them again. My money is better spent elsewhere and I need to preserve my sanity Please, I urge you, not to be fooled by them. Please don't even step into this place. There are much better facials elsewhere. Like Spa Esprit. Or proper dermatology clinics. It's not Japanese at all. Just a PRC experience. Completely different from what they claim on their website.

Me and my sister bought a package for upper lip IPL from Groupon with this company in 2014. It was stated very clearly that we are allowed to choose the branch of our preference.

Here's our story...

We called to make appointments early in 2015 with Kira Orchard for our first treatment. We were told that the machine was under maintenance and we can go to Nex for treatment and move back to Orchard branch when the machine have been fixed. The personnels in Nex are also made aware of our intention and we were told they will keep us updated. We were subsequently given the same excuse for the next 3 months.

Finally I had to put my foot down and called Orchard Kira in pretense of a new customer looking for the same treatment and was immediately told to come in. I requested for our treatments to be completed in Orchard branch and was told fiercely and point blankly that because ours was a Groupon promotion, we were not allowed to be transferred. Needless to say, I gave them a good piece of my mind. They finally relented after one week or so and agreed to the transfer.

Make no mistakes that they'll remind you each time you make an appointment that you're not their customers/members because we have been told repeatedly that we must mention that we're under Groupon voucher and there also additional charges for appointments on block-out periods. The only saving grace is the lady Vicky who has been assigned to my treatment. She's professional and not pushy. I am the sort of person who will buy something small from these places to test out their services before committing to bigger purchases and in my opinion, this is one place I wouldn't even bother recommending to my friends.

Kira, just a reminder. Whether I'm paying one dollar or 10K, bottom line, I am a customer.

I have been a customer with them for nearly 2 years, but I have to say this, I super dislike their hard selling techniques. After facial every session, they will try to sell u an additional package and during facial, they will ask you to top up for other treatments. Facial is supposed to be relaxing, but everytime when I go, I need to worry about how to reject their hard selling. I have been signing up more facial mainly because I like their collagen facial and they allow sharing of the pacakage. But recently, what made me very unhappy is I discovered that they omitted one of my facial session because I was unable to make it (despite me calling them to inform). I have been visiting the salon monthly for 2 years, but just one time that I was unable to make it for the facial as something crop up last minute. Besides, I even called them to inform in advance that I can't make it. They threatened to cancel 1 session for not turning up, but after negotiation with them, they say this time they will let it go, but I realise in contrary to our agreement, they went to silently cancel one of my session.

It is easy to verify, because Everytime when you finish your facial, they will make u sign in their file, I realise there is one slot that is being strikes off without my signature. And when asked, they told me they don't know why it was cancelled. Right now, I'm just waiting to clear off my facial package and never visit this place again.

i just did the 3hours spa for full body massage . the collagen facial quite good without adding any other package that they sugested . but i really didn't like the full body massage .. to me, it felt like the massage was just about rubbing my body with some oil. that's it! the worst part is , they did not offer me a wet towel for your to wipe off the smelly olive oil .. i just feel very uncomfortable after the treatment .

This facial did not meet my expectations.

Bought a groupon (guasha facial incl body massage) which is like $40. End up topping up extra $68 + $38. There was hard-selling during the session.

so to summarize my experience there:

-no explanation on what they do next/gg to do-tell me my acne is extractable when it isnt even "ripe"

-used a cold treatment for my acne after extracting but still bleeding when im leaving the place

All in all, super disappointed and unsatisfied.

I bought a 2.5 hours spa indulgence package from groupon for $45. I looked at the website and I was impressed by the rooms and the location. I tried to set up the facial, body massage and the detox for the same day, but they told me that it was not possible. So, I just booked a facial.

I did not enjoy my experience at Kira. Firstly, it is very hard to communicate with the staff as I couldn’t understand their level of English. They gave me a small room and the facial was below average in my opinion. The lady did not explain the treatment or the products used to me.
Right after they took me to a room to sign the paper that I did the facial, and they said, out of the blue, that they have someone available for a body massage. They took me to another room.
That was one body massage I do not want to repeat in my life. I felt that the lady did not have a proper procedure. The massage was interrupted by a lady from reception saying that the detox can be done after the massage.

After all the strange and unpleasant experience, the “manager” took me to a room to offer me different kind of packages. When I said “no”, the “manager” was really angry.
