Alex Yap

With over 35 years of experience, Alex’s passion for hair styling started early having trained at the Vidal Sassoon Academy in London, before taking part in the 1988 World Hairdressing Championships in Dusseldorf, West Germany. He then went on to earn the coveted Golden Scissors award in 1993. ​Alex has been involved in numerous bridal shows showcasing bridal hair both locally and internationally, as well as taking part in the hair styling for celebrities of Star Idol (明星偶像), MTV Awards (2002) as well as for the local comedy sitcom 'Oh Carol' (2002). In 2004, he was also voted in the top 5 leading stylists in Singapore. With his established arsenal of skills, Alex’s passions now include imparting his knowledge to guide the new generation of up and coming hair stylists.
