Chika

Hailing all the way from Okinawa, athletic Chika is the newest Japanese hairstylist to join COVO. Unlike other Japanese hairstylists used to working in drier parts of Japan, Chika is great with easy-to-manage hairstyles due to the hot and humid climate in Okinawa (that is similar to Singapore!) 

With more than 10 years of experience, Chika is also able to quickly decipher customers' needs and what style looks best on each customer.

Although versatile across different services, we think that his short and medium haircuts look the best! Other than making his customers look younger and more fun, his fuss-free haircuts are easily manageable for yoga class or gym sessions without sacrificing the sleek office image. As an avid marathon runner (he has completed the tough Naha Marathon!), Chika loves to make sure that the hairstyles he designs do not get in the way of his customers' active lifestyles. 

Skill aside, Chika is among the most patient and easygoing hairstylist we've seen, making the hair experience with him particularly enjoyable!

P.S. He has just arrived in Singapore from Okinawa so he may need some help from the receptionist for translation at times!
