A stylist who prefers to keep a low profile and shy away from the limelight, you won’t find Jenny featured in magazines or photoshoots. Her legendary skill in perms and colour are however makes her the Best Kept Secret for most of her customers! Even before the Korean wave hits Singapore, Jenny had already been creating Korean-style perms 15 years ago, experimenting with different styles to see what works best for time-starved working professionals. Her customers are after all mostly doctors, lawyers, bankers who don’t have time to style their hair. Given that her customers have followed her since her time in Passion Hair Salon, failure to give an easy to manage yet stylish hairstyle is NOT an option. Customers especially love how she manages to make them look younger with an age-appropriate perm and colour even though they are hitting their 40s or 50s! She believes that this is a result of the intense styling training she received under the tutelage of David Gan decades ago where she styled the hair of top local celebrities when Mediacorp was still called TCS. As a result, her curls are especially bouncy and natural!

Her proactivity also helps Jenny stand out as she preempts customers’ needs to give them what they are looking for, often going beyond her scope of work. You’ll also never find her taking leave as she sees it as her responsibility to her customers to be there when they need her. That’s probably why most of her customers reward her with their unfailing loyalty for the past 20-3o years!
