Kouhei Hamada

There are not many Japanese stylists we would recommend for vibrant hair colouring but Kouhei is certainlly one of the select Japanese stylists we think you should try! As a colourist for 5 years in one of Japan's top salons, Kouhei has done Hollywood-style Balayage, gradation, pixelated hair colour, colour blocking or 3D hair colour. Kouhei is in fact so good that he won Top 8 in Japan's National Colouring Contest held by Milbon and also another excellence award for Wella Vision in Japan for his technique and creativity. After seeing his detailed and innovative hair works, we understood why!

He isn't just a great colourist though; having become a stylist and later on, manager of a salon for 4 years, Kouhei has honed his haircutting skills and head spa skills so well that he was invited to teach at beauty schools across Japan. This means that you can also look forward to an easily manageable haircut and an amazing head massage from Aube's leading hair care meister!

Kouhei is very friendly but may require some help in translation. Therefore, do bring along some photos if you have any complex hair colours you're hoping to achieve.
