We’ve met quite a few Japanese hairstylists so we can safely say that Marco isn’t quite like the others!

While most Japanese stylists tend to struggle with consultation due to their poor command of English, consultation is a breeze with Marco due to his good command of the language! Instead of accepting whatever the customer is requesting (which is what usually happens in a Japanese / Korean Salon), Marco is able to confidently give his recommendation on what hairstyle suits the customer best and engage in a meaningful discussion before proceeding with the hair service.

This confidence stems from his experience in Tokyo, Vancouver and Singapore in handling different types of hair be it Caucasian, Japanese, Korean or Singaporean. Due to the exposure, he is also familiar with the intricacies of the different hair textures as well as different hair services that can help the customer manage his/her hair best. Although his signature is still haircut, he is also knowledgeable with the use of straightening creams and keratin treatment to subdue even the most unmanageable of hair.
