I went to Do My Hair for my ROM styling and for a birthday cut. Both times I was served by Celia who was delightful to talk to and did an excellent job with my hair. Tucked away in a cosy enclave on the 4th floor of Orchard Central, the salon is bright and cheery and what I love the most about my experience is how comfortable my hair stylist (Ivy) made me feel. I didn't catch the name of the lady who washed my hair but she gives a really good massage! I actually dozed off for a while. Ivy gave really good recommendations for my hair type (I have thin, dry hair) and face shape, and the end result took years off my appearance! I also like how soft and healthy my hair felt after the Tokio Hair Treatment. Would definitely want to go back again to try out the other services. (Review not yet verified)

Had the Tokio Inkarami treatment done on my bleached & hence very frizzy hair. Was recommended to redeem the ecoupon for cut+tokio for $188 UP $353! was well worth it even if I did not have the haircut as I’d just gotten one. Also had low lights done & Ivy helped recommend a color after some helpful discussion ~ it was subtle but really complimented my bleached & natural gray hair!! I’d also like to mention that the blowout was fantastic as it lasted a good 4 days!! & after my 1st wash last night I must add that the treatment has tamed my frizzy hair it is supposed to last for 2 months or so. My first time visit to Do My Hair was Nov last to do cut, colour and treatment with Renee. While the initial outcome was great, she wasn’t very transparent with the costs and treatment to services to be done, and also didn’t go as in-depth and detailed during the consultation before proceeding. 2-3 months later, my hair colour faded to a very patchy and brassy blonde despite using hair care products made for blonde/bleached hair. Very disappointed to have spent $500+ in total (despite 15% discount for all services done) when I could have saved on the price and get a better dye job elsewhere at more affordable prices with better service. Celia is quite good at getting what I was looking for, despite me not being very clear… She understood that I wasn’t adventurous yet wanted something fresh. She did quite a lot of the work herself instead of some stylists I’ve met elsewhere who will just pick the colors and leave the work to the assistants. When I told her I had no time, she really tried to accommodate and did her best to rush whilst still delivering the results. I have been visiting Do My again salon since 2 years ago, and my hairstylist is Rene. She just did my hair colour and it was amazing. She not only consider the colours that suit me and my choice, and also will suggest the colours and treatments that will do less damage to my hair.
