Queenie

Queenie may be female but our heart skipped a beat when we requested for her to remove her mask briefly. Her features may be adorable but Queenie just manages to look effortless chic with her checked jacket and slender jeans. This is one stylist who definitely knows how to dress up! 

Don't let her youth fool you into thinking that she is not experienced though. One of the few young Singaporeans who already knew what she wanted to do early, Queenie entered the industry when she was 17 and has since accumulated more than 10 years of experience since then. Her experience at some of Singapore's top hair salons for hair colours has only developed her talent and interest in this area. Her skills in colour is so strong that she has even won the Medallion of Excellence in an Asian Hair Skills competition!

Though she is strong across many different colours, there is however one that made us go WOW... and that's PURPLE. Maybe because of her natural affinity with purple, she knows exactly what to do to achieve EVERY shade of purple whether lavender, pastel, violet highlights - you name it, she has done it.

Just because she is strong with colours doesn't mean that she will recommend bleaching all the time. Having had her own hair fried by another salon when she was young, Queenie took the effort to learn about hair health during her education and has since incorporated that into her own consultation and hairdressing process. Other than treatments, Queenie will go the extra mile to plan your hair journey instead of getting you to your desired hair colour in a single session to reduce damage. Her stint as a hair educator also made it easier for her to understand and explain why each step matters, 

While she's not the most chatty stylist, her commitment to giving customers the best she can give is obvious. Customers have shared about how she selflessly stay late just to accommodate to their schedule and even rearranging appointments so that she can help fix a perm that was botched elsewhere.

To many, Queenie isn't just a stylist but a friend they know they can trust for life.
