When we heard that Sham Adam, one of Singapore's most popular hairstylists of all time (and among our favourite!), founded a new hair salon in Millenia Walk, we knew that we gotta check it out.
There's a lot to love about its decor: classy, spacious and comfy but that probably isn't the main reason why we've been hearing SO MANY raves about this salon lately.
We're not particularly surprised since Sham is in a league of his own. 9.9 out of 10 customers who go to him will love him to bits because he is just SO NICE and SO GOOD at what he does. He doesn't think about how much $ he can extract from you and instead encourages you to do hair services that are lower in price and yet achieve better results than you've imagined. Each hair visit with the customer is a personal one and so a hair experience with him is just AWESOME.
We never knew that there were others like him until we met the rest of Be Salon's star-studded team consisting of Chester, Jol, Henry, Darren, Kelvin and Dave. All of them are stars in their own right, with long years of experience, strong following of customers and a single aim: to make customers happy.
Here, they don't do any selling at all, whether in terms of packages, services or products, a reason why we haven't felt so at ease at a hair salon in a long time.
Instead, the stylists here focus on three things for every customer:
1) Why do customers want to go for a specific look?
2) How can they help the customer achieve the look
3) What products and techniques are involved
The systematic consultation that is documented within the salon helps the stylists understand more about the customer to achieve hair outcomes worth raving about! We're especially in love with their bold and classy hair colours as well as keratin treatments that can defrizz even the messiest of hair.
Best of all, Sham and his team is always helping the customer think for their wallets and so, often do their best to minimize any add-ons required, making the prices here very competitive.
Overall, an awesome local hair salon we're truly excited to recommend and love!

Wonderful!
Wonderful receptionist, wonderful hairstylist! It is my first visit to the salon n am lucky to have Darren assigned to do my hair. He listened attentively to what I want, and asked me qns so as to understand my needs n lifestyle n how i take care of my hair. He then recommended me the style that suits me, n the colour that would look gd on me. It is amazing that he grasps what I want and the final result was testament to his expertise n prowess! He even taught me how to style my hair in as easy a way as possible. All in all a wonderful experience, I will be back again!

Satisfied
First time patronise be salon. I get to know by Beauty undercover all the reviews are relative truth and my experienced with Chester. He's a tip top hairstylist he understand my hair and know what hair style is best for me. Thank you for fixing my unruly hair. I am very satisfied with my new haircut. :) furthermore he gave me alot of tips on how to blow dry my hair so I can keep my hair neat and not flying outwards like before. I did a right choice to look for him.

Personalise Hair Experience
Visited Be Salon because I wanted to try something new. My hairstylist was Sham, very nice and friendly guy, before he start the service he will ask me to describe my daily lifestyle to him, what activities I like to do etc. and then he will let me know what he will be doing to my hair and he will suit my character and also something that is work friend too. :) (very amaze by that because he's the only hairstylist I have seen so far that will do that and I also have learn some interesting hair tips as well) Despite having to cut off (to me it feels like chop off :P) some part of my hair (which is something I'm scared of because I love long hair), he was confidence that the end result will be perfect and turns out I did like it! :D (I'm not a fan of wavy or even curly hair to be honest [I'm more of a straight hair girl] but I turn out to find it not bad :P) Love the hair style and also the hair colour he have picked for me too! Definitely would visit again for new hairstyle (especially hair colours :D which is something I'm always excited about :D) ! Looking forward! :D

Stylish Hair Expert
I’ve tried a lot of salons here in Singapore but I would say Be Salon is my “go to” salon now for any hair needs. Ever since Chester handled all my hair requirements I was able to explore other styles I never thought I could have. He made good advise on dos and don’ts rather than just following whatever I want particularly when it won’t be good for my hair. He’s not just hair stylist but a hair expert at its best!

Always the best service
Chester attended to me and I have to say that he always knows exactly what I want. I did a colour and treatment, the colours lasts quite long and when it fades, it fades very nicely! Chester is great at hair colour so please look for him if you are intending to get your hair coloured (:

Always a delightful experience!
I like that Sham takes the time to understand your lifestyle, listens to what you want, and makes great recommendations. In my last visit, I was not sure if I could try a hairstyle that I really like and his confidence made me go for it. It turned out to be a great experience! One thing for sure, he knows what he is doing! He has so much experience and passion in what he does. It was such a delight! I will definitely recommend him to all my friends. I LOVE MY HURR!

Review For Chester
Chester has always been extremely accommodating. He listens very carefully to what you need or what & executes it extremely well. My best experience with him was when he still gave me a cut despite being on leave. (he didn't know I booked an appointment and was at the salon just to deliver some stuff) I've trusted this guy for a year now and will continue to do so. Also, shout out to Sham!!

The stylist to go to.
The salon is stylist and practically every corner is like an artpiece. Stylist I would recommend is Sham. Known Sham through word of mouth recommendation and he has never fail to meet my expectation so far. Sham always knows what works best for his clients, though with what he know works best, he is still attentive to ALL my "wants" and patiently giving advices. He then translate my wants and what he thinks suits best into reality and the results are amazing each time. Sham is precise and skillful and will always be my hairdresser to go to.

Be Salon @ Millenia Walk Review
Multiple great experiences with Be Salon! From wash to blow dry, style, trim or cut, color, straighten or perm, you can trust the skillful hands and aesthetic sense by hair stylist Chester. Salon is conveniently located at Millenia Walk straight out of Promenade station. Classy interior design and pretty good playlist in the background. A little welcome snack and drink is also served :)
