I recently had a Naked Gorilla scalp treatment, recommended by Ken. This involved a scalp scanning session to accurately analyse my hair type. During the session, my scalp pores were unclogged, providing a very cooling effect. Following this, I received a Milbon 3-step hair treatment, which consisted of a mixture of protein and moisture to help hydrate my hair roots. A scalp tonic was then massaged into my scalp, and an infrared hairbrush was used to brush through my hair, helping my scalp better absorb the product. This Salon is a gem in Chinatown area. Although located in HDB area, but I was in awe with the head massages, complementary drinks, nice sound systems and the environment is very relaxed. No hard sales talk and the staff was very attentive to the all the important details of doing the Naked Gorilla Scalp Treatment. Look here everyone. For everyone who do not hard selling and hidden fees, look no further. I had been going Kudos for the past 2 years and I truly enjoy myself here. The staff had good technical skillsets and always seem to greet me with a smile. The assistant even went to take Macdonald’s delivery for me as they wanted me to save on the delivery fees. My friend recommended me to the salon. As the salon is at the corner, thus, I could not find the salon. The staff called me and provided me a with great help and directed me to the salon. After I reached the salon, within a few minutes, my drink of my choice was given. Stylist Ken gave me a through consultation. After knowing that I had bleached and darken my hair previously, he advised me not to perm as it might damage my hair further. I was amazed by ken’s haircut skills. He was very attentive to my enquires and provided me with some hair care tips too. His haircut is also very fast. I will sure recommend him to my friends and family members.. My hair is usually very matt and frizzy. I had been going to ken for his Rinka anti frizz hair treatment for years. He is very precise with my hair perm as he will make sure that my head is in the correct position before winding the rod ( I usually do my work on my computer while at his salon). After Ken handled my hair, my hair has amazing movement, shine and volume. He doesn’t get pushy with his products too. Although I would love to try his Rinka shampoo some time later. I visited another salon and I was greeted with rude staff and they damaged my hair. I was apprehensive when I went to ken as I m not sure how it will turn out. In the end, he explained the pros and cons of my colour choice and he gave me a haircut which turned out to be good. It is well maintained even after 2 months! Through my friend’s recommendation, I booked an appointment with ken for a straightening and perm. It was a rewarding experience. Kudos is located conveniently in hong lim center. I have been following ken for over 8 years now. He is really good at consulting and giving me suggestions on how to maintain my hair.
