Winnie and team have done a truly fantastic job. When I first came to them in May 2021, my face was in a horrendous state. The breakouts along my jawline were angry and painful and I was ashamed to show my face underneath my mask because I had so many breakouts. But through Winnie’s gentle guidance, treatment and advice, I am now very happy with my skin. She went above and beyond, calling me in for additional sessions when the gov announced tightening of restrictions, and gave great home care advice to supplement the regular facials I received at the Bund. The staff was always respectful of my choices and there was no hardsell of products/treatments. After a short time, my skin improved and is now in a much more manageable state, and I have to really thank Winnie and team for that! So sorry for the late review: Tremendous improvement of my acne within 6 months at The Bund Beauty! Since my teenage years, I have flawless skin which I am proud of and is envied by others. Little did I know that, due to hormonal changes, my skin condition had turned for the worst. For the past 5 years, I have made desperate attempts to treat my breakouts by going to dermatologist, beauty salons and TCM. Unfortunately, the issue persists. I chanced upon The Bund beauty at Beauty Uncover and decided to give it a try. Winnie and her staff are very kind and reassuring but at the same time professional. Winnie is really skillful in extraction. Don't expect no pain, as for me, it's bearable. They advised on home care products to complement their treatments. No hard selling as they only recommend products that are suitable for my skin condition at that moment. They will not add more even when I asked 😅. I should say the products really complement their treatments coz I can see tremendous improvement of my skin. A treatment every 2 - 4 weeks is liked 'spring cleaning', using the right products everyday is important for maintenance. Thorough yet gentle extraction by Winnie who patiently extracted every single oil bump without leaving redness. Winnie and Shireena are extremely meticulous and made effort to explain the benefits of each step of the facial and took time to analyse, diagnose and treat the skin condition. Bund beauty - a place with great service and effective treatment. I had a sudden severe acne outbreak and was on the medication to help clear the active acne. My tcm physician recommended me to complement medication with facial treatment to help clear the skin more effectively. I found bund beauty through online reviews and decided to give it a try. I am so glad to have found bund beauty as it has one of the best service in town. Winnie and team are attentive and makes an effort to understand the skin condition and issue of each individual instead of hard selling. The treatments are also effective. Prior to bund beauty, I tend to get more breakouts after visits to other facial parlour but I noticed that I did not encounter such issue after each treatment at bund beauty. My skin became clearer and the condition of my scars have also lightened after each visit. I’ve started my journey with Winnie and team last Oct, and barely a few months after, I get wonderful compliments for my natural skin glow! In my first appointment, Winnie managed to completely fix a pesky cystic acne. I was so impressed, having been plagued by problematic oily clogged skin for years and having expensive treatment packages with well-known salons and clinics. My acne was deep beneath the surface but her skillful extraction cleaned it up thoroughly with minimal pain. Subsequently, the scar cleared up fast as I diligently use their serum and Skin Origins products. I follow up with bi-monthly treatments that include fibro and micro needling to continue to refine my skin texture, close up pores and firm up. Days of hormonal troubled skin are gone and the youthful dewy skin that I can only dream of is now a reality, even at 40!

Last night I went for my first facial with Winnie and Kim. It was homely and I liked the fact that there was no hard selling. My skin does feel cleaner with minimal swelling/inflammation after the facial due to the mask they put on you after the extraction process. I recommend this place because it feels like they care for your skin, and that there's no package you're tied to so there's that freedom to pay as you come per time. Winnie also meticulously went through every pore and now my face feels clean and less bumpy and clogged. Kim was also nice and friendly assisting her and went the extra mile to make sure I was comfortable and help me write down instructions for usage of the products i bought. Would definitely return!

Sharing my facial experience at the Bund Beauty after trying it out for about a year ago. The most visible result is the significant reduction in acne, especially at my chin area. I’ve always felt the warm welcome on each visits from the close team led by the founder, Winnie. Winnie is very hands on as she does the extraction herself and is very meticulous. I also paired the facial with their skincare products (slightly pricey tbh but definitely worth it as they have shown effective results for me).

I have been with The Bund since 2007. Started with very bad skin and a lot of outbreak. The last 14 years I have been religiously going to Winnie to clear my skin on a monthly basis. Winnie has superb extraction skill which reduce the pain and definitely leave very little (if any at all) mark behind. With the recent change in product and technique, I have seen vast improvement in my skin condition! In addition, I like the friendly atmosphere where i felt truly at home for me to relax and enjoy the massage. The environment set in the spa is a great plus for a monthly treat for myself to relax!

I’ve had acne since young and have been looking for a good facial place. By chance i saw their reviews online and decided to have a try. Have been with them since 12 Nov 2020 and i’m very satisfied with the results so far. Both the facial and their products are not the cheapest but it works well for me. During extraction, Winnie will make sure she doesn’t leave out any part of the face even if it takes an hour just for extraction. Most importantly, i still can go out for dinner or appointments directly after facial and my face wouldn’t look red unlike my previous facial places.

This is not a paid review, but a genuine customer who has experienced a great improvement of complexion under the magic hands of Winnie.
I had been to countless facial salons and even professional dermatologists, which include laser sessions for the past 20 years. Put monetary aside, I don’t see any vast improvements on my face at all.
It was a life changing decision when I went to Winnie. She is the most skilful beautician that I have ever experienced. The therapists are very friendly and professional too. The shoulder and head massage are so comfortable that I look forward to every session.

will break down my review into several parts.

1. The environment:
I like that The Bund is situated in the park. It makes me feel really relaxed and calm.

2. The people:
I met Winnie and Kim who are both really warm and friendly. I felt at ease talking to them - no awkwardness at all. It was as though i have known them for a while.

3. The shoulders, face and scalp massages:
The shoulders massage after the double-cleansing was incredible. Unlike those "just-for-show" 1-min shoulder massages that come with other facials, this was a deep and relaxing massage. Kim really took her time to deliver the effects of the massage. After the extraction, there was a face massage. This came as a pleasant surprise to me because there's usually only one massage for the facials I've been to. The face massage was also gooooood! While masking, Kim gave yet another massage - this time on my scalp! I was really impressed.

4. The extraction:
It was hands-down the least painful extraction I've tried. There's even a chance i could fall sleep during the extraction the next time i come. Winnie is extremely experienced and she made sure to clear my skin of every clogged pore. She was also very patient in explaining my skin condition and the suggested treatment.

5. The mask:
I liked that the mask was applied on both my face and neck. A lot of other places only apply the mask on the face. The neck deserves every bit of care the face gets! Thank you, The Bund! My neck feels so loved :)

Overall, i am more than happy with the treatment at The Bund. It was a thoroughly enjoyable, instead of painful (referring to other extraction facials) experience. In my opinion, this is how a facial treatment should be. :)

The bund beauty is located in the middle of Bishan park, the environment can put all your stress aside. Winnie’s extraction is done with the utmost care, finishing with a skin-calming mask at the end. Really suitable for clogged up but sensitive skin especially those with acne conditions.

I have been suffering from adult acne for the past 4 years. Tried prescription medication, laser with different dermatologists but nothing helped. Was recommended by a friend to try out Winnie and have been religiously following Winnie's suggestions and using the Skin Origins products. Don't expect overnight or immediate results. I was glad that with Winnie's encouragement I preserved and 8 months on, while I'm still having some breakouts, my skin condition has improved by alot. Winnie is very patient and thorough in the extractions process, yet it is super painless. Shireena's massages are so comfortable I never want it to stop. The prices may seem expensive but imo it's worth it for the visible results.

I've always had a lot of acne and always source around for right facial centre. I was really glad to find The Bund Beauty which is known as Best Extraction Facial in Singapore. The facial really lived up to my expectations in terms of their service and results! It has been 2 weeks since my facial at Bund Beauty and I feel that I have to write a review about my experience. I actually wrote this review a few days ago, but it did not get posted. I am not sure why. But anyway, I feel that I have to set a realistic expectation for all those who are thinking of getting an extraction there. The reviews on beauty undercover by all the agents have been stellar. Looking at the photos they post, one would expect to step out of the salon looking like their photos. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. It has been 3 months since my last facial with them and after this recent one, I remembered why it has been so long since I visited them. It brought back the memory of the rather “scary” extraction experience for me. Scary in the sense that during the extraction, I can hear the sound of scissors snipping. Based on the sound, it feels that the extraction is done by making small incisions in the skin. Judging by the wounds healing on my face, I believe that was how the extractions were done. Maybe they can clarify on that. I made the not so smart decision to do the facial right before CNY, which meant that I spent my CNY not daring to show my face to others because it was just full of wounds healing. The healing process is the scary part as it took more than a week for the scabs to fall. And because an incision was made on a rather active acne, it has now turn into an acne scar. After this recent experience I don’t think I dare to go back again because the healing process is rather draining mentally as well as you don’t now how your skin will look after the scabs fall. It’s basically me praying every day hoping my face will heal. The ambience there isn't great either as you can hear everyone talking. It's impossible to relax. After every facial, they will ask you to buy the Skin Origins(not to be confused with Origins) product that they use. There is very little information that I can find about this brand. It is from the US, but truly, beyond their official website, little is known about it. They commented that my skin was not as drying as the last time I was there, which meant the products were working for me. But truth was, I actually haven’t been using those products for 3 months. I bought some again just to get them off my back. Below are some photos of my face. The circle marks the acne that is now a scar. The above is my personal experience and opinion. I know there are many who have seen wonderful results from the facial. Unfortunately, I was not one of them.

I have tried many products and methods to get rid of my stubborn acne but the one that solved my problem was The Bund Beauty. After 10 years of trial and error, I was fortunate to come across this blog and decided to just try it out after seeing so many positive reviews. Team of patient and skilful therapists who thoroughly cleanse and explain the products & ingredients used on my skin. After a relaxing cleansing process that takes around 10mins, extractions were done by Winnie. One of the few therapists who can remove stubborn blackheads with minimal discomfort. I have been suffering from acne for 10 years and tried all sorts of methods including going to national skin center, facial salons, all kinds of acne treatments, changing diet, using only natural products, seeking tcm help etc but all of that did not work. My skin was so bad that a relative’s friend who attended my grandfather’s funeral came forward to recommend a treatment. So at the next funeral (my grandmother’s), I wore make up throughout the entire 5 days because after years of trying, I gave up hope and thought I would have to live the rest of my life below layers of concealers and foundation. Until I chance upon the bund beauty and met Winne. Winnie takes great care of my skin, not leaving any pimple beneath the skin unextracted. Every facial I had with her she has patiently extracted more than 100 pimples each session and never once did she count the time she spent on me. She tries to minimize the pain and redness after the facial so that there is hardly any down time. She ensures that we start with basic level to prep our skin well before moving progressively to the more advanced levels so that we do not spend unnecessary money on treatments that we are not ready for. I was halfway through my fibro program when circuit breaker kicked in and I had to restart it after the circuit breaker. Winne was consistently checking in on me remotely during the CB. She felt bad that my treatment was delayed although not her fault and she gave me a free epi treatment (she herself did not have any income for almost 3 months). You honestly cannot find any facial salon out there who is more responsible, dedicated and genuinely cares for your skin like the bund does. When I first started out, I had a colleague who was also looking to start acne treatment. I recommended her to try Winne’s treatment but she felt that it was too pricey, so she went somewhere else at a cheaper price. Last I checked, her skin is still in bad shape while mine has already cleared 90% (I have just started my first session of microneedling which is the final stage). So I urge you to think long term; yes you may have cheaper options now but nothing has worked for me like the treatment at the bund. And if you have tried everything and have not found the solution, give Winnie a chance to salvage your face. I now look forward to going out rather than hiding at home just to avoid slapping on layers of make up. Miracles do happen, it did the moment I met Winne. I have seen quite a few doctors over the years, underwent laser treatments to deal with my acne/sensitive/large pores skin and pretty much gave up. I was resigned esp after one doc pretty much told me to accept and live with my easily inflamed and sensitive skin. Ever since I saw Winnie for my first facial 2 mths ago, i have seen my skin condition improve by leaps and bounds. My pores are still there, but they have shrank, my skin is much softer and most importantly the redness is gone. It is so impressive that the results are better than what i have experienced with lasers. Granted, if i didn't try to be funny and use my own products which gave me a very bad outbreak, my progress might have been better. My skin got raw, inflamed and broke out into alot of pastules. It was really gross. Winnie really came to the rescue, and I'm very grateful to her for the immediate rescue. It has already been 17 months since i started my facial treatment with Winnie and just wanted to share my experience thus far. Within this period I have seen steady improvements with my skin and I have not had any cystic or hormonal acne for more than a year. I must admit that during the first few sessions I was getting impatient and wanted to see results immediately. Winnie gently said that after years of damage on the skin due to wrong and harsh treatments, my skin barrier have been seriously compromised thus resulting in super sensitive skin that in winter, my skin would just crack. It was her first experience with such sensitive skin and she really took good care of me from then on. She explained to me that such damage needs time to see improvement and the skin needed to rebuild itself inside out by going through each healing process to become strong again. It made me change my mindset on hoping for a quick and easy fix to hoping for truly healthy skin.

There was also a time which I experienced an allergic reaction due to disposable face masks. I immediately went to Winnie and she immediately calmed my skin with the Fiber treatment. She also suggested I switch to fabric masks as it is much more gentler on the skin. Kim even offered me her new fabric mask to wear home! I was seriously touched. Apart from being just a facial expert, what I really love about Winnie and the team is they treat me with kindness and sincerity. They are always there to give good advice and care. Shireena is even more familiar with the changes on my skin than I do and would always advice which product should I use to improve it. Disclaimer: Just sharing my experience. I know that their treatments have worked very well for others but it damaged my skin badly. TLDR: Did the Fibro facial with them as recommended and it left me with badly damaged skin and patches of my face scabbing. Facial: Made an appointment with them after reading the positive reviews about their expertise in treating hormonal acne on Beauty Undercover. I visited them with 3 nodular breakouts and some clogged pores. Kim recommended the Fibro facial to me although I’ve read from this page that the treatment is only recommended to those whose skin ‘is ready for its next level of transformation’. I went ahead with her recommendation since she was confident that it is the most suitable for my skin condition. Everything was kinda ok until after the extractions, when the fibro paste-like product was applied on my face and it stung badly for 10s. Since the stinging sensation went away after 10s, I didn’t think much about it and thought it to be post extraction irritation. She left the product on for I think 10-15 min and removed it. After that, everything went downhill. She wiped my face with toner and even that stung. Informed her and she replied that it’s because there are wounds on my skin. She proceeded with the rest of the facial and my skin felt so raw. After the facial, there was intense upselling & Winnie was encouraging me to sign on $3k credits with them and to trust her that sticking with her will improve my skin for sure. There was also hardselling of their Skin Origin products and they were very persistent about it. Post facial: I did my facial at 1030am and reached home around 3pm. Splashed my face with just tap water and it stung like crazyyy. Was lowkey freaking out but decided to give it a night as I thought that it’s just post extraction redness/irritation. Just FYI, for post-care I used their Skin Origin products (just cleansing milk and moisturizer to be as gentle as possible). The following morning when I woke up, my face had scabbed all over my cheeks (not exaggerating) and some parts of my chin (the areas where extractions were done). Until now, I can’t figure out which part of the facial was so overly aggressive to have damaged my skin barrier so badly. Might have been their papaya extracts acid thing being left too long on my skin (prior to extractions), or the fibro thingy (applied after extractions) was just not suitable. Follow up with Winnie: I contacted Winnie and I guess the only good thing about this entire ordeal is that she was very responsive and willing to help. Upon my request, she also refunded me the full amount that I had paid with no questions asked. What was really distressing for me however, was that there was nothing that she could do about the situation apart from asking me to wait it out and for my skin to heal by itself. I went back to see her in that same morning (day after facial) and she said that I used wrong products which resulted in this (I had mentioned to her on day of facial that I incorporate AHA into my skincare routine). I didn’t appreciate this victim-blaming comment – I’ve used acids for a few years now with no issues all these while, and I have had facials with my dermatologist where I do chemical peel and laser in a single setting and my skin has never scabbed/peeled off/been damaged like that. It’s now day 5 post-facial and I’m still trying to heal the scabs which will hopefully not leave marks all over my face.

After reading multiple reviews on the bund, I decided to give their Enhanced Epi facial ($220 before 10% discount for 1st timers) a try. The salon is cosy and clean, nothing fanciful just enough for a comfortable experience. Shireena explained the various steps and products used during the facial and was patient in responding to my questions. Her massage skills were amazing. Winnie was in charge of extraction and indeed it was a near painless experience. There was a little hardselling of their homecare products which I purchased after long persuasion. It was a good decision and I am glad I took their advice. My complexion is still clear and smooth to the touch after 2 weeks of diligent usage.

I came across The Bund Beauty through one of the articles on beauty undercover. I was suffering from cystic acne & sensitive skin for 6-7years and was at my wit’s end. My first experience with The Bund Beauty was warm and welcoming. Winnie understood what I was going through and gently explained her views and laid out a plan. She also recommended some products to help boost and quicken the healing process.

After a 4hour long session, the results were shocking. My skin was no longer red and angry. I was really surprised. I have not seen this shade of skin colour on my face for a very long time. Since then I never doubted Winnie and her team. I continued to see her religiously every 2 weeks for the first 6 months.

My skin improved so much over that period that people around me commented on how good my skin looked. I was really happy. I really appreciate Winnie’s genuine care and concern for me. Finally found a cure for my acne problem. I have been plugged with acne problem for many years. Have tried many other facial salons and medical clinics, but my acne problem is not getting any better. Thanks to Winnie and team to help resolve my acne problem. I can remember that my first facial with them last near to 4 hours. In my younger days, I've acne prone skin problem and had a terrible experience of going for facial due to the painful extraction process which causes my skin to be red and irritated. Because of that I avoided facial for many years. A few years back I started going facial again but only went for those Japanese facial where there's no extraction. My skin condition did improve but it had reached a point where its progress become stagnant. I began to wonder and chance upon an article from beauty undercover about this painless extraction facial offer by the bund beauty. Similar to the writer I thought perhaps I should consider extraction once again. Originally, my facial was scheduled on the 23 July but after reading the article again and again I've decided to try it earlier. Hence I moved forward the appointment to 9 July. Upon arriving, you have to enter into Amarsa Spa to get through to the bund beauty. The place was really nice and cosy. Shireena was my facial therapist. I must compliment her for the great facial experience that I had. Her explanation was very thorough and her massage strength was great. The steps are exactly the same as what have been shared. Also Winnie's extraction was the most amazing For the first time in my life I could relax through the entire extraction process. For me it's indeed painless and I've never felt that my skin could be so cleaned. Through Winnie, I understand that I've a lot of clogged pores to clear given that it had been closed to 15 years since I last have an extraction facial. My entire facial lasted almost 3.5 hr. After the facial my face was not red and irritated. I could feel that my skin is smoother. I'm looking forward to my next session with them.

Saw the facial review of the bund beauty at bishan Park by beauty undercover. Was impressed with the painless extraction being raved, hence decided to give it a try as my current facial package uses machine for extraction vs manual. Went on a sat afternoon. It was a small cosy section carved out inside Aramsa spa. Need to enter in by the Aramsa spa entrance then pass the bund hair salon before you reach the bund beauty. Upon arrival, we get to change into their black fluffy slippers that are so pretty. Tried to purchase via taobao but not sure if it will be as comfy.

I was being ushered by Kim to one of the “rooms” partitioned by curtains. The space is small but if we are going to lie down on bed for the next two hours, I reckoned we don’t need a large space. Before Kim removed my make up during the facial, I told her that I have eye mascara that may require some additional effort to clean. She replied no problem Cos their cleansing milk and facial scrub can do the job easily. I was very surprised, as most of the facials I’ve been to always have to remove the mascara separately. She did a massage on my face with the cleansing milk followed by the facial scrub that was so gentle yet cleansed deeply. After the cleansing, my skin feels clean and smooth. This was even before she applied all the other products. My mascara? Thoroughly cleaned without a trace. I’m sold!!

She then applied toner and a papaya enzyme which is suppose to repair the skin. It feels prickly after application Cos the product is doing its work. She helped to fan to relieve the prickliness that feels stronger in sections when your skin is not as good. After that she continue to apply some other products to prep me for the extraction. The shoulder massage was equally good as it helps one to relax n sleep. Then came the star, Winnie who will be doing the extraction. She did a quick assessment of my skin and shared her view based on her experience. Then she started to remove the dirt. For a first timer, my result isn’t too bad according to Winnie.

The process was slightly painful but tolerable. I had one pimple that was dormant under my skin for a while. Winnie quickly spotted it and remove it properly for me. After the extraction, Kim came back to continue with the rest of the mask, head and face massage. The duration of the facial differs by client as it depends on how much work is required. It can stretch from 2 hrs to 3.5 hrs in extreme cases. I really enjoyed my facial experience with Winnie, Kim and Serena. Loved their products so much that I bought them all on my first visit and started using them at home. Highly recommended to anyone.

Do you ever feel at a loss standing in front of a mirror looking at your face and seeing pimples everywhere and you have tried everything from dermatologist to home beauty salon to big brand beauty salons. I never had any acne or pimples when I was younger. It is only when I hit 30 years old did the dreaded hormonal acne catch up with me. So in desperation, I tried The Bund Beauty @ Bishan Park. The best thing I like about The Bund Beauty @ Bishan Park is that there are no packages to tie you, they are operating based on the value they can bring to you as a customer. Secondly although there are recommendations of products, there wasn’t any hard selling of any products. On these two points alone, it would make any new customer feel comfortable without feeling accosted. The single thing that I hate most about any facial is extraction because of the pain. In many places, they use so much force that my rather dry skin will flake off, causing more damage than help. Extractions at other beauty salons make me want to hide my face for another week due to the redness and blotchiness and sometimes even scars. Here at The Bund Beauty, extraction begins with a light application of oil before extraction. While not entirely painless as there would be some pain during extractions, on a scale of 1 to 10, the pain would be like a 2 for me and I have a very low threshold of pain. The best part would be that I am able to go out on the same evening without having to explain that my face is blotchy due to a facial. The service here is impeccable. On my first and second facial, due to the condition of my skin, I spent close to 3 hours at the salon. When my skin visibly improved on the third visit, I did not have to spend so much time. Well a picture paints a thousand words. If you are wondering if there is some place that you can go to solve your acne problems, I would encourage you to try out this place. It worked for me and I sincerely hope that this would work for you too. *I have masked my identity for privacy reasons and I will update this review in a couple of months.
