I got a perm with Nick who is very friendly and really goes the extra mile to explain every step thoroughly. He constantly checked on whether I was comfortable and helped to make sure my scalp wasn’t too hot when perming by cooling it with the hairdryer. Excellent service and I love the results! I'm a regular customer at Act Point and I always look for Elaine. I have pretty thick coarse and dry hair that is difficult to manage but Elaine has made my hair much better as I go to her for my haircut, perm and also color. I’ve came back here a few times because of their professional service and I really like how long lasting my curls are! The whole procedure only takes about 3-4 hours which I think is reasonable. My hairstylist is Jess Kong and she has been my stylist for over 10 years. If you are unsure what kind of treatment, hair colour or style that is suitable for you, she is definitely a to go hairstylist that you can be assured. I used to do hair rebonding every single year before meeting her. After her analysis of my hair, she told me that I totally do not need any rebonding. First perm in my life cos I am born natural curl. Had been rebonding for almost a decade and was unsure if a perm is suitable. When I stepped in, the staff were attentive and I was quickly seated. Joeann who permed my hair, asked a lot of questions before she started on it. Making sure the look I want, citing her own experience. It is also nice that she quoted the price in a subtle way to check if it is ok before she starts. She also gave me lots of assurance along the way, tips to maintain and care for the curls.
